I've missed OG's press conferences almost as much as the football. Really love how he answers the questions, says it how it is from his footballing point of view, always insightful, and always with a smile and a touch of humour. COYP!

Loved his straight-faced reference to his bank account when answering the question about Guehi. Great sense of humour.

Hope I'm not duplicating a topic here. I don't think it's my imagination that the Club seems to have been very quiet this week re first team matters, perhaps no surprise there! The scheduled Press Conference should be interesting, if only to see how it's managed, whether there's reference to Glasner's outburst etc. Indeed. will Glasner actually be 'in the chair' and if so, will questions about last week even be permitted? Personally, I have liked how the guy handles himself, apparent honesty in interviews, composure and dignity compared to some of the rubbish we hear. Or, am I gullible?

Im hoping its all about sundays game , what the injury news is , what players are available , I dont care anymore about how he feels he has been thrown under the bus that he felt the need to belittle the kids , he needs tobe clear that training went well , the team are ready to fight for the fans , and if on sunday we get a positive result we can forward and up

I’m sure we all hope that for the rest of the season, things can be positive and EVERYONE is giving 100%. I suppose we might wish that the rant never occurred, although without going into all the arguments, I feel Glasner had a point over the timing of Guehi’s departure. Suddenly, our Club is not the happy place everyone was told it was! Yes, we want team and injury news etc., but it will be a bit strange for last week to be ignored, although it seems, that’s what the Club management has done. If Glasner is to see out the season, I THINK I can rely on his commitment – after all, his reputation will come under scrutiny if the team now collapses. Just hope the players believe too.

Incidentally and off topic, bar two dreadful showings at Leeds and Macclesfield, I thought the team was playing reasonably well, but oh boy, the current poor run wouldn’t have happened if players scored more from the many golden opportunities created. It’s getting ridiculous.

The interesting thing about todays press conference will be about the questions he is asked.

And of course how he answers them !

Any journo worth their salt is going to refer to his outburst last week and ask questions around the fallout from that.

I think he is going to want to try to draw a line under that at the outset (if he can) maybe say something like, I let emotions get the better of me, its all water under the bridge, not answering any more questions on that topic, lets concentrate on the Chelsea game (or words to that effect)
