"Largely peaceful" said the BBC, despite murders, beatings, assaults of officers, youths with machetes. Imagine if there was a "Far Right" protest with even a tiny fraction of that?

Notting Hill Carnival: Arrests but less serious violence, says Met

More than 400 people were arrested at the event, but police say fewer serious incidents took place.

Only a mere 423 arrests over two days. There were two stabbings, but the Met said neither led to serious injury so that's fine. With only 18 sexual offences and five robberies it's thumbs up for celebrating our cultures.

Last year only eight people were stabbed, leaving one person dead. Another person was killed in a separate attack, so nothing to see here.

Looks like we dont need to police the event so we could save the Met £12m + win win
