Nketiah expected to be out for up to 6 weeks with hamstrung injury .
There's definitely a sliding scale from running around with your hair on fire to the slightest flicker of an eyebrow. We joke, but we all have a list in our head regarding how much we're prepared to shrug when a player is injured right?
Just wait for the one about Boris Johnson fathering a child.Oh f*** me. Thats a thread bump and a half
Back from injury and scored his most important goal for Arsenal yesterday!
Why? It just means we finish ahead of them as well 😀Back from injury and scored his most important goal for Arsenal yesterday!
Hope so. It'd be nice to prove Arsenal were wrong to sell him.I feel like nketiah will cook in the conference league. Perfect against teams that play low block. Would be good to give Mateta a rest on Thursday.
It would be nice to prove we were right to chase him for as long as we did -Hope so. It'd be nice to prove Arsenal were wrong to sell him.
It was a great cross, and I would like to see more of Mateta and Nketiah on the field at the same time (at least for spells in games) to see if they can further that understanding/partnership.Nice finish at the end.
Missed an absolute sitter , header in the 6 yard box, from a greater Mateta cross.
They didn’t show it on motd. But needs to hit the target from there.
Frankly, I don't think I'd rate Mateta as a clinical finisher either. Too often, when he gets clear, he shoots straight at the keeper rather than lobbing or weaving past.It was a great cross, and I would like to see more of Mateta and Nketiah on the field at the same time (at least for spells in games) to see if they can further that understanding/partnership.
Glasner observed that he wanted them both on the field to relieve pressure from the defence and play more in Liverpool's half.
On Nketiah I don't see him as a clinical finisher, but he takes up good postions and if we create enough chances for him he will get his share of goals.
