NHS reform

That would be my guess but even if it's not payment which can't be explained is not a good look for anyone involved.
Agreed.

My brother was an audited for a bank. He pointed out flaws in their procedures and was ignored. 2 years later a fraud was committed exactly as he predicted.

There maybe innocent explanations for these payments but sloppy record keeping and controls is an invitation to staff to commit crimes.

This needs to be investigated and cleaned up.

At a guess these payments are for pushing one drug over another rival drug, often drugs have very similar efficacy but vary wildly in price. A big company scam.

They control policies.

The other user has no clue how the system works I can tell you first hand how it works.

They do not have the education on how a lot of these guidelines came to be for example the claimed nutrition ones they was made up by a panel which was pharma/food industry with some other paid off members who have ties to them.

Do you all remember the food pyramid or in some countries the food pie.

Contributions can be for multi reasons but these people are sitting at the top table pulling strings any person who has been in the system and especially the science side of things has experienced this.

Not going to mention there name but everytime they like to link to authority figures as if they are the all mighty they did the same thing covid times look at what a scam that was.
