Next Manager?

Think it will be Frank - once he's fallen out of Spurs. If that happens soon, does SP shake OG's hand and move on sooner?
Otherwise Bordalas from Getafe getting some mention. Apparently plays tight and compact (bit more Roy) but just going on what I've read.
My third guess is Dyche once the fat Greek gets fed up with him.

Whoever gets the job. IMO, will be lucky, a squad of:
Henderson, Whitworth, Benitez
Lacroix, Riad, Richards, Canvot, Mitchell, Kporka, Cardines, Sosa, Imray
Wharton, Doucoure, Hughes, Lerma, Ozoh, Devenny
Sarr, Johnson, Pino, Esse, JRS, Musphaha
Nketiah, Casey

With the money from Guehi, Mateta and Muñoz, a striker, and RB is a good squad. but please not 3-4-2-1, use 4-2-3-1 whoever you are.

Iraola is out of contract, it would be nice to think that he would view Palace as a step up, much better Salary, maybe it’s a done deal or maybe not.
that would be some out standing business to pull that off , but he is all out attack hence Bournemouth are the most entertaining team in the lge but just below us

1. That is not a good squad. It's barely half a good team. Take Sarr out and I think the combined rest have about 10 goals between all of them (if that).
2. You mean the 3-4-2-1 that brought us our most successful period in the club's history, two trophies and European football?

Man you're crazy 😆

If being an ex-player is any credential Kevin Muscat is currently managing in China; he was strongly linked to the Rangers job before Russell Martin.
If his play is any indicator he'd bring a robust approach to things.

As I mentioned on a similar thread some months back Bo Henriksen would be a perfect fit.
Recently left Mainz as well so is currently job searching. I'd be surprised if they're not talking with him.

Not a bad shout. Henriksen employs wingbacks to exploit space and uses aggressive pressing. Either him or Perez would suit us perfectly.

No to…

Southgate
Bordalas (Roy Hodgson 2.0)
Postecoglu

I have a feeling it’s gonna be Bordalas. He was further down the betting but he’s gone into favourite for now, at least on Paddy Power. Not a clear fav on 3/1, but there hasn’t been anyone on tighter odds yet.

It’s moved around a fair bit since the announcement, but I had the feeling about Bordalas as soon as Oli said he’s leaving. He was already getting linked near the end of last year, in the event we ended up in this position, there were rumours that Steve had already spoken with Getafe, that seems more likely to be true now we know he already knew at the time.

Amorim is 16/1, really don’t think that’s out of the realms of possibility, obviously he is a free agent, obviously has similarities with Oli tactically and would slot in quite easily, the squad wouldn’t need much adapting and vis-a-versa… not sure if he would be interested or not, right now it’s not a huge step down other than almost certainly in salary.

You can never rule out Roy can you, I don’t wanna see it happen but it wouldn’t be a huge surprise. Paddy Power are offering 50/1 so someone could make a lot on money on that potentially.

Hilariously, Ronald de Boer appears at 100/1, as well as Wilfried Nancy. Safe to say it won’t be either of them!

Hell yes, wonder if his managerial style is anything like his playing style,

Maybe, but say what i think, Palace great squad over last 2 seasons, best ever, yet finished 12th, the FA cup win was great, but IMO that is down to the players, not the, overhyped, overrated, backstabbing, lying, Austrian C**t,

I wonder whether SP would bring Southgate here, not so keen. Wasnt SP keen on Michael Carrick when he was doing well at Middlesborough? Maybe if he does well at Manure. With our new SD perhaps a Spanish/Portugese manager? SP has tended to prefer available managers ie no fee to pay. How about Nuno when he gets sacked by West Ham?
With the notice OG has given, the club have plenty of time to research and line up the right candidate.
