Next Manager?

Jose Bordelas got a lot of noise last month, and no smoke without fire. Certainly makes the Uche question a bit more interesting if it were him.

Martinez would be awkward with the World Cup being this summer.

I suspect the club already knows given how far in advance of appointing Glasner they made the agreement.
Getafe have lost over half their games in 'La Liga' this season and are the second lowest scorers in the league.
He has however worked on a shoestring budget.
Their football is not easy on the eye.

Rumours in Austria that an old friend of us has been in London recently, Adi Hütter.
Adi Hutter is a very experienced manager who has won the League in both Austria and Switzerland.
He led Monaco to 3rd in the League last season. He was removed from his duties in October due to a poor run of form, Monaco are currently 8th in the table.

Actually his dismiss wa a little bit curious. Monaco was 2 or 3 points short of PSG. So his sacking was much of a surprise and taking a look where Monaco are now even more surprising. But maybe it's down to Hütter's personalitiy because he is not as easy going as Ollie.

For those, who like gossip. But I wouldn't read that much into it:

The question of his successor in London also arises. There will be speculation about this as well. But the question is whether Glasner's compatriot Adi Hütter was in London twice by chance after his departure from AS Monaco? Certainly not. In October, when Glasner informed Parrish of his decision, he was sitting in Glasner's box at Selhurst Park during the 3-3 draw with Bournemouth. He came back again just before Christmas. Hütter has never made any secret of the fact that he is very attracted to the Premier League. And that he would rather take over a club for pre-season preparation than join a rescue mission. Following his friend Glasner to Crystal Palace would fit this picture. Hütter also has some major successes to his name: he won the league with Red Bull Salzburg and Young Boys Bern, reached the semi-finals of the Europa League with Eintracht Frankfurt and took AS Monaco to the Champions League. Since he left, the principality has been on a sporting downward spiral.

Came in late on the BBC TV London news tonght - words such as 'melt down' included. Wondered what the hell had happened. Quite relieved whe realised it was just Marc and OG heading out !

Roy had more talent in his finger nail that Southgate. He'd take us down. I have no doubt whatsoever
What? Only place he succeeded was Foolham. Failed at Liverpool, England, Watford and at Palace holds the record for the biggest home defeat in our history, lowest goals in a season etc. He insulted Palace fans, refused to coach the forwards or practice corners. Just happy to do the minimum possible and pick up the money….and you want him back?

He bottled it against Croatia in 2018
He bottled it against Italy in 2021
He bottled it against France in 2022
We all knew he'd be too negative against Spain in 2024
He tries to score a single goal and then sits back and defends it. With some of the most deadly attacking players in the World and an average defence.
His only venture into Premiership football was to take a very strong Middlesborough team down.
He is tactically clueless. Our England team reached two finals despite Southgate not because of him.

True dat
