Some men are 'Cavaliers' and others 'Roundheads'.
There was another force at the time the Dorset clubmen who attacked Roundheads and Cavaliers equally as both raided and stole from people en route to wherever they were going.
The Clubmen of Dorset and Wiltshire were a paramilitary unit formed in late 1644 or early 1645, during the English Civil War, in the Dorset and Wiltshire region. As with other groups of Clubmen, they were formed for the purpose of self-protection from the deprivations of both the Parliamentarians and the Royalists, with their goal being the cessation of all hostilities.

Let’s face it, whether it is one of the names being put about or even somebody from left field, it will be a risk. It always is. All of the names have had better periods and not so successful periods. Some of them apparently sometimes use a playing system that matches the ability in our squad. Then again, how many current players will be prised away during the summer? I hate the whole uncertainty of it all. As soon as the match was finished last Wednesday there were comments from pundits suggesting that the the majority of the current first-11 should move on for their own good as Palace would only sink from this peak.
The appointment is so difficult, EPL experience or not; relative success in a European top league or not? Mixed fortunes in EPL/Championship?
Glad it’s not decision but if it was, maybe Toppmüller or Sage. Frankfurt was a good watch and I saw enough from here to opine on the matter. Sage? No idea.

Pierre Sage sounds a good one, I hope we get him. Hopefully his English is decent. He managed to get 12 goals from Eduard in 29 appearances this past season which is pretty good and 2nd in the table behind PSG.

He might be OK if he pronounces his name Sage. With our luck he's probably called Peter Saggy.

Am inquisitive journalist has just sent me a message asking if I could "Shed light" on latest developments.
I replied that "My Light on this matter burns with as much brightness as a standby light on a radio clock alarm" !
I have not had any response !!!! 😀

And another favourite lol
As others have said, odds change based on betting patterns more than calculated likelihood, the latter being difficult to establish I presume.

The thing that I always wondered was, what possesses people to bet on a teams next manager? I mean, as much as gambling is a fools game in any circumstances, at least if you're betting on Team A to beat Team B you can base it on stuff you know to be true, like form, tactics, injuries etc.

I have set out what I think the club's thinking might be regarding the next manager, but it's not like I'm basing it on tangible evidence in the same way I would if I was betting on a match.

Why on earth does anyone take a punt on this? I presume the bookies will only allow tiny wagers for fear of inside knowledge, and that it's just a 'fun' bet? If so, seems unlikely to reveal much.

People bet on all sorts of junk. I've bet a quid that someone will quote this comment.
