This season we are relegated. Parish needs to manage that outcome and plan for the future. Discuss.
I do not accept that at this juncture our fate has been sealed.
We have only just entered November, and in the table we are not tailed-off akin to a nag about to be pulled-up.
The portents might not be encouraging but I believe it is far too premature to assume that relegation is a given.

Much against my desire to have the team play exciting, attacking football, I think we just need to find a way to survive this season. The problem is that Dyche was sacked at Forest ad Everton for presiding over a relagation scenario. I really don’t like any of the names being bandied about and sadly we are not in the class of Pep etc.
To be fair, Forest were in a relegation scrap due to Ange. Dyche was picking up points and getting some results in Europe but their pampered, delicate players didn’t like the fact that he told them some home truths and had to put in some hard work and so they went and complained to Mary knickers and had him sacked.

To me, Kieran McKenna is a strong candidate. Has management experience in both the premiership and championship. We need someone who would be prepared to help fight for our survival, and who would also stay and rebuild if we did go down.

Kieran McKenna stepped back from football management and is now a UEFA technical observer.
He did achieve promotions with Ipswich from League One and the Championship (Twice), however in the PL his Ipswich team were relegated with 4 games remaining in the season.

IMO, Dyche is the only manager that guarantees survival, his team will be well organised, defensively based, solid, balls into the box from wide and a massive improvement on set pieces at both ends of the pitch, i am not expecting flowing football from him, just basic coaching to our strengths, give him an 18 month contract.
So we lose 1-0 instead he gets his teams score 1 goal a game on avg . You want that . Its not ideal at the moment but shut up shop and not attack . I sooner get relegated and I thought I would ever say that ever

I think "guarantees" is a bit optimistic. he would probably make us a tad more difficult to score against, which would be a distinct improvement with form since October last year. However, at this stage i'm past the point og guessing and speculating

Also I’m not sure he’s going to fancy stepping into another relegation battle with a club that’s flogged its best players. Sadly Dyche is the best fit at the moment, and I do mean sadly

I remember his Burnley team having no problems beating us by a few goals at Selhurst!!
