I feel more like he's at a poetry slam or book reading somewhere. Maybe guest lecturing around universities. Southgate called him a nerd.

Of course it does. Bournemouth are a much smaller club than Palace who have few fans and (without a billionaire propping them up) very limited resources. Plus they have spent the majority of their history in the third and forth tier of English football. Wigan are a bigger club than Bournemouth. They have won an FA cup. Bournemouth have won nothing. Dont get me wrong, I dont have an issue with them and will admit to even willing them on when they play the bigger clubs.
This all said, of course Palace is a step up from Bournemouth and a big one. We may not be top 6 but theres only 6 teams in the country that are!

You have to know when the right time is to leave a club, if you intend to move up the managerial ladder, Bournemouth are flying high at the moment, and Iraola stock is high. but even if they qualify for the Champions league his stock can drop quickly, bad start in the league next season, early exit in the CL, then he isn't as appealing, get out at the right time, i will say this about Glasner, he certainly knows the right time to leave a club.

Seems like Iraola is the first choice. He is also linked to UTD and Chelsea. I can see UTD keeping Carrick for another year because he has done well. Chelsea you never know could try and hijack the deal. Iraola is probably the best option for Palace. Proven in the Premier League. Other managers that worked in the EPL include Marco Silva and Thomas Frank. Most Palace fans would rather have Iraola. From LA Liga you have Marcellino who is leaving Villareal taking them to the UCL next year. Another manager that Palace were linked with before was Getafe's head coach (José Bordalás).

If Palace do get Iraola they will change their formation to a back 4. Will they give him 3-4 players to buy in the summer?
