Newcastle Predictions.

[doombear]

Currently on a run of 16 goals in the PL without reply. I doubt if any other club will beat this in 2026/7. Palace's record in any PL season is 7

They've conceded just 5 goals and FOUR of those came in one game against Chelsea (Brighton scored 3 in that game themselves). Since then only Leeds in a 1-1 draw have scored a league goal against them.

You're younger than me, Willo, and I don't class myself as being decrepit or whichever more common word you had in mind when taxing our English vocabulary.

I am 74 in November and my usage of "Decrepit" is not related to age but is based on the individual.

[mtp1958]

I certainly do not consider anybody on HOL as a "Serf", nor do I view myself as 'Above the salt'.
I am a mere spavined gentleman with no indication of brilliance.

Sorry sir please dont beat me again with your crop I won't do it again

So sorry to hear that, Willo. I'm 75 and blessed with pretty good health hence my minimum 7 hour return train trips to Selhurst (for some mad reason) 😀 I shall be their again in Glaziers on Sunday even if Besiktas ends up another embarrassing result.

I do believe that some reprobates need to be thrashed to within an inch of their lives.
I certainly do not consider you in this category.
In Australia several years ago I used to consume an ale called '150 Lashes' !

I salute you for your vim and vigour in making the arduous journey to and from Selhurst Park, displaying steadfast support for our club.

Alas I do not feel a lot of pleasures from bygone days !

I miss the days when they were rock bottom of the football league and playing in front of 1500 people at Gillingham’s ground 🤣

[Charlie B]

3-0 to Newcastle

I'm going to stick my neck out and predict a win AND a clean sheet.
1-0 (Pino)

A clean sheet? 😵You mean you now have to wear nappies?

But how many cups have they won 💁

[Glazier#1]

I never expect much when we play them at Selhurst; one of the trickier fixtures, in my book.

Magpies 2-0.

I’ve been known for having about 150 slashes per afternoon in the pub, so this one would have been tailor made for me.
