I don't think anyone had a problem with betting companies on football shirts, as if his move will really stop people getting addicted to gambling... Not necessarily. The club have found a new sponsor. We don't know the figures behind the new sponsor. For all we know they may be paying more than the fake betting site.

Does AI generally earn more than bookmakers? Right now it's a huge industry. A lot of money being sunk into it, even if it doesn't produce a real terms return on it just yet.

As for the morality issue, AI is probably similar. I welcome the ban on bookies though.
