  1. Sean Dyche - Highly likely to come in and probably safest bet to avoid relegation.
  2. Thomas Frank - The one thing he guarantee's is losing games of football, don't think he is ready for the battle we have ahead.
  3. Frank Lampard - No chance, Cov looking a safer bet.
  4. Kieran Mckenna - Again, no chance. Would require compensation to Ipswich and he want's a break.
  5. Robbie Keane - A bit of a punt as no experience at Prem level
  6. Southgate - Love the guy but not a prem level manager
  7. Anthony Barry - I'd be excited by this. Again, no prem experience but is working with one of the best at both Munich & England
  8. Vitor Pereira - Goes a little under the radar but did a good job at Forest. I think i'd prefer him to Dyche.
  9. Rob Edwards - Nice guy...... But nice guys don't get overpaid players to their potential.
  10. Eddie Howe - He's got England / Man U on his radar, he won't come here unfortunately.

Although my preference is Sage sorts it out and we stick with him.....

Can you put my name on the list. I know about as much as Sage, but will definitely be more fiery on the sidelines, and put a rocket up the players arses.(metaphoricaly)
I also promise not to play a back 3.

This is 100% about survival at this point. If Dyche is the best bet to keep the club up, it’s gotta be him. Frank probably has the better upside, and would be my choice long term, but if that’s the case you should’ve hired him in May and maybe we’re not in this position right now.

I do not think Dyche would take the job. He would just see it as a stop gap with no future and if he did keep us up the club would move on. He is like Steve Bruce, not a long term project, just a break glass for an emergency type of fix.

A lot of the others, most of them, are more ambitious and are not going to take on such an iffy project as Palace right now. A few are happy doing their punditry or whatever and probably would not want to move unless offered an obscene amount of money which let's face it is not where Palace is right now.

The only one maybe desperate enough to take the job is Thomas Frank if he felt he could make something of it. He needs to rehab his reputation after Spurs. He could take a leaf from Lampard's book and go to the Championship and work his way back but the faster short cut would be keeping Palace up with a view to extending the contract. At least that is my thinking.

So, we are definitely not thawing out Roy right?

Dyche has found his ceiling, he wont get a better club that Palace so he either settles for a "Palace sized club" of he walks away from management.

Personally I would welcome him.

I can see Sunderland sacking their manager soon. We might want to get there first.

Yes and Forest very soon too. They've got a tough run. We should have sorted our business after the Brighton, Newcastle or Spurs games but we've let it drag out whilst getting no points and further damaging our Goal Difference.

If we sack him tomorrow after the game and announce someone immediately then I can accept it... But we all know we'll dither for another couple of weeks.

Nottm Forest are at Home to Man City today.
Man City barely keep 'Clean sheets', only 2 in their last 10 games in all competitions and 1 was home to Norwich.
I would not be surprised if Nottm Forest achieve a positive and unexpected result.
