Music that makes you want to cry

He has a hell of a way with a lyric.

Well Frank settled down in the Valley
And he hung his wild years
On a nail that he drove through
His wife's forehead.
That is from the song called Franks wild years, its about 2 minutes but brilliant

If your an oldie like me you may remember Marmalde song Reflections Of My Life.
The lead singer rerecorded it a few years ago just before he died. Done as a ballard with cello and violin. Very touching given that the song was adopted by Vietnam soldiers upon it's original release.

while you mention Tom, and amazing lyrics, try this.

"they are sharpening their knives, on my mistakes"

.
.
One to make you cry...."The girls around here all look like Cadillacs"

Living Years by Mike and the Mechanics always chokes me up. Very moving lyrics about father son relationships and the tragedy of not mending differences before its too late, sung by the brilliant Paul Carrack.

Martha has a wobbly bottom, maybe not the same Martha...
Colombian Martha in the Miami Beach hotel room with the shooter hidden under her pillow in Scarface when the chainsaw comes out?

‘’You have it in the car?’’
‘’No I don’t have it in the car man’’

Brilliant when those 2 did a scene together in Carlito’s Way.

"Every generation blaims the one before" one of the best opening lines ever
