More covid

You could say it was a million times and you would be wrong every time.

Mandatory, in this context, means imposed by law. Not required by businesses or social conventions that you could avoid by choice.

If you still can't see that it was mandatory then there is no helping you 🤷🏻‍♂️

They didn't decide. It was mandated by the government.
Untrue.

The government organised the resource and identified high risk areas, like international travel, where the certification would have to be provided.

The choice though was always the individual’s. You didn’t have to get a certificate. You only needed to present one if you chose to undertake one of the designated activities. Your choice!

All I ever wanted was for people to be able to make the decision for themselves. Get it if you want or don't get it. The problem occured when we were not given the choice.

"My body, my choice" until it isint...

I genuinely don’t think many would disagree with this. I certainly wouldn’t advocate anyone putting anything into their body they don’t want to.

At the same time though surely this does go against your anti-abortion stance?

If you choose not to believe what the official web site says then those no hope for you.

It’s not debatable. It’s a fact. Vaccines are not, and weren’t during Covid, mandated.

Many, me included, think they should be.

The Government. "Have a crap life or don't have a crap life" " Your choice. But we gave you the choices."

Happy to answer you seeing as you asked a genuine question and not used insults....

The difference is simple here in that a vaccine goes into your body. Abortion ends someone else’s.

Have a crap life or don't have a crap life. Your choice. But we gave you the choices.

Again, Darwinism in action. Don’t have any problems in your beliefs. You carry on believing what you believe is the right medical science and we will too.

Mate, say something original from your own mind.

You do obviously have a problem with my beliefs I have a problem with yours. The difference being I'm honest about it

Ffs. Your own link proves you wrong by confirming that mandatory simply means 'something that must be done'.

The 'in this context' you have referred to is meaningless twaddle, smoke and mirrors. You just made the 'context' up.

I am not sure whether you are trolling or really are this obstinate and stupid.

But it’s the mother who is growing and nurturing it, and until a certain stage it’s fully dependant on the mother. And having to go through everything that pregnancy and child birth entails. Having witnessed it first hand it’s mental what the female body does and has to go through.

Full disclosure we had a miscarriage and then my wife had a massive haemorism with our second and would have died without an emergency blood transfusion.

I don’t agree with it full stop but terminating a foetus in the early stages when it’s either unwanted, unplanned, or worse the victim of rape is just sensible rather then raising a child in those circumstances.

I’m also pretty confident your views would change if it was you having to have the baby and deliver it out your sphincter rather than thinking your job is done after an extremely disappointing 30 seconds.

That's the line. The last one.

How would you have implemented it against those who wished to stay unvaccinated.

You wouldn't have been able to do it physically yourself. You would have had to get a group of nasty assholes that were paid enough to perform anything, to achieve the ends you wanted. Same as it ever was.

Real men take care of their own business.

He's not trolling. You are wish he was. Lol

I am sorry you went through that. We also went through one last Christmas. Whatever our differences are my heart goes out to you.

Our current pregnancy we heard the heart beat at 7 weeks on an early scan and then again at 10 weeks. No one will tell me our child was not alive then.

Members of my family also got pregnant very young and one was the result of an abusive relationship and I can never imagine life without those kids.

All I will say is I will forever be pro life and it's okay if you are not and that maybe it's a subject for another thread.

It is and it’s extremely emotive and subjective. Sorry for what you guys had to go through.

The AI view of Chat GPT.

Chat GPT is not fully reliable. It predicts words based on patterns rather than actual facts, meaning it can sound completely confident while giving wrong information. Users on platforms like Quora reach a consensus that it frequently makes errors or invents fake facts. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Why Chat GPT Makes Mistakes
    • Hallucinations: It can invent fake quotes, non-existent scientific studies, and wrong dates.
    • Overconfidence: It presents wrong answers with the same strong tone as correct ones.
    • Specialized Topics: It struggles more with niche, legal, medical, or complex technical details.
    • Inconsistency: Asking the exact same question twice can yield different or conflicting answers. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

Yep, it's a problem with AI generally, Dan made a good point on it earlier.

It's a great tool if you know how to guard against its issues like those above.

I'm uncomfortable discussing abortion on here as it's one of the few issues that I get genuinely upset about. We would probably only partially agree so it's best left untouched.

What I will say is I'm very sorry to hear about your loss and later difficulties I'm very aware of just how serious it gets.
