It's funny all the time he was under performing , drop drop him get rid of him , soon as he asked for a transfer , he can't do that how dare he I hate him well if he wants to go go f off so on and so on , strange lot football fans
 
I think a lot of Palace fans can accept his poor performances (I’ve seen a lot of really bad footballers in Palace shirts), but it’s the way he and his agent have publically gone about orchestrating his departure.

He’s jumped aboard the new wave of discontent at the club to basically state he has no desire to play for Palace again. That type of attitude never sits well with lifelong supporters.

Money in football has changed everything. In my mind JP will be remembered fondly for his build up play that led to the winning goal at Wembley and nothing much else as time passes.

I really think its his agent pushing more than him , he is a larger than life character there the ones most vulnerable to bad agents and friends, so struggles with important things ,

we will never know the truth, , and people don't want to hear it either and just say its a made up story to cover , none of us are close enough to know him , so its all guess work
 
It's still being reported that JPM cant go to Milan unless or until we've signed a replacement.
But we've brought in Guessand. Isn't he a replacement?
Even excluding Nketiah (injured) we have Sarr, Uche, Johnson and Guessand who can all play as striker. How many more do we need?
If Mateta wants out, get rid of him (the same, of course, could be said of the manager, but we don't have 5 replacements for him).
