Man City found guilty

What the City owners have done is scandalous and on an unprecedented scale, compounded by total non cooperation.

I would genuinely like to see the punishment as follows;

Relegated to the 5th Tier - National League
Transfer Ban for 9 seasons
Fine of £930M (£100M for costs and £830M redistributed equally to the remaining 91 clubs.

And the 9 top people at City kick out

It will be fascinating to learn what level of punishment they get.

Up to now the punishments levelled out for rule breaking have been very weak, in my view.

Running away with the league right now with their bullshit cheated squad.

Throw them out.

I absolutely agree with you!!

For me the best punishment is going to be dished out by the football regulator when he kicks their owners out of football in this country (and burnham can't stop this from happening!!)

I've never minded their fans. They're normally alright and much better than the red lot from that city. But they are seriously starting to annoy me with their unwavering support for the crooks in charge.

If that had been our owners i'd be fuming with them and what it may mean for palace and the jeopardy they would've put the club in. Let alone the shame and embarressment i would feel for cheating all the other clubs out of points, players and trophies!!

I had to smile though when I read that their fans were singing to the Ipswich fans "You're going down with the City". They know deep down what's likely to happen. Perhaps the inflated bananas etc, are really about support for the club by real fans rather than support for or believing the owners. When the current owners have gone (and I suspect they'll go if they lose the appeal and all other avenues, if any, are exhausted and City receive their due punishment) then the real fans will still want to support their club whichever division they're in. I'm sure we real Palace fans would want to if we were in that situation despite the shame etc.

I don't know if anyone has made this point, but if City are relegated as should be the least of it.....does that mean that only two clubs are going down due to performances this year?

Interesting if so.

They might possibly be playing their first game next season mostly with their academy side.
