I have never complained about paying taxes, my ambition was to pay a million pound in tax because to do so you would keep an awful lot of money. I would be happy to help fund schools I saved them dough (my boy got a hefty scholarship) And the NHS. I am not greedy and believe in fair shares.

Pay a million in tax over what period? If in one year currently you would need to earn more or less two million to pay one million in tax.

Problem is if you earnt two million you would be despised by the left even if you paid one million in tax.

The Greens were a big fat zero in Makerfield, they will be considerably more of a player in national elections. The left vote will be split then.

Hopefully. But my thinking was that they tactically voted to ensure labour got in.
