you mean staying here, bit of a Freudian slip that one! 😊I believe that’s what’s called a moot question. We’re Premier League and staying there!

Can I just ask if Harvey Norman has a sale on currently?Just an 'update' to everything we've seen & hear before . . .
Premier League stadium looks unrecognisable as incredible new plans are revealed
This looks stunning. What an upgrade 🏟️ 😍www.givemesport.com
In virtual reality?Seeing our team no longer enter and exit the pitch at the corner flag by the Holmesdale stand is going to feel weird!
Parish says we are getting a stadium to be proud of. So I take it we are also redeveloping the Arthur.Just an 'update' to everything we've seen & hear before . . .

In his lifetime?Parish says we are getting a stadium to be proud of. So I take it we are also redeveloping the Arthur.
I’d just settle for better bogs and 3x service at the bar at the Arthur.Parish says we are getting a stadium to be proud of. So I take it we are also redeveloping the Arthur.
I'll probably bee long gone by the time it does...... 🙁These threads will need a refurb the amount of time this has been going on.
I’ll believe it when I see it happen.
As we speak, Parish is over South Norwood Lakes looking for a newt he can place in the car park behind the old stand. These threads will need a refurb the amount of time this has been going on.

What did it say?Matt woosnam posted a somewhat cryptic post on bbs about this
We need a new stand. The club will not remain in the top tier without more revenue. It's that simple.Let's be honest, the whole thing is always 'It'll start next year'
I don't think it will happen to be honest, Harris and Blitzer are more interested in their NFL team, Textor wants out. Depending on who you believe they've been sniffing round buying Chelsea and Everton in recent years, and owning Palace gets in the way of that, so I can't see them putting up £100m+ (or at least providing the security)
Our ground is more or less on a par with Portsmouth and Charlton's in reality, and the club is always one relegation and a couple of seasons in the Championship away from being back to circa 15k crowds anyway.
What did it say?
Thanks."Stadium depends on a few things! I think there's a good chance it'll actually start in the summer but it's complicated. Will become clearer in the next month or so I think. I hope to finish a piece I've been working on for a year that is related to it but it's hard to find the time. The one thing I'd say is that I have consistently been certain that they'll redevelop Selhurst. I'm slightly less certain than I have been, again for several reasons which I will hopefully be able to clear up soon"
"I've probably inadvertently made things more confusing than I'd intended.... Do I think Selhurst will be redeveloped still? Yes. Are there still things that need to happen before it can be? Yes. Not least replacing the homes they're knocking down like for like in Croydon. It's possible that the timeline could slip further. These things are rarely as straightforward as anyone would hope."
He did say a while back that there are feasible options to developing the Whitehorse, Arthur and even Holmesdale to the same spec as the new Main stand but pointed out the obvious (how long its taken just to get this far with the Main Stand. He suggested this stand will be his legacy and while we'd all love the work to be completed and continued I'd imagine when looking and redeveloping more stands it will be someone else that picks up the baton and runs with it.Parish says we are getting a stadium to be proud of. So I take it we are also redeveloping the Arthur.
Bit negative. While you are right about our stadium's level of quality the big difference between Palace and Pompy/Clowns is we are in the top division pulling in £120m+ a year and currently have the planning permission as well as the resources to upgrade to something the other two can currently only dream of. Whereas One of those is scratching a living in League 1, the other is precariously close to dropping back there.Let's be honest, the whole thing is always 'It'll start next year'
