I was hoping this was in Transfer Talk a few of their players showed some grit something I haven't seen much of .

It was a perfect storm for Macclesfield, our poor form, our injuries, plastic pitch, which their captain said that Marc guehi admitted to him out on the pitch we didn’t fancy that at all. Plus don’t forget, these Macclesfield players, most of them had league experience, it was their cup final and they were well up for it, which was the exact opposite of our lot.
by the time the European final is done we’ll have played 17 games in that competition, so it probably did do us a favour getting knocked out early, but we could’ve at least avoided the embarrassment of defeat against a non league team and got knocked out by Brentford the next round!

Oh yes, it seems strange that he can get knocked out but still go on to win it, much as I don’t begrudge him because he’s a top bloke, but what happened to the old cup tied rule?

I bet when they found the trophy room and prized open the rusty hinged door and swept all the cobwebs and spiders away to put the fa cup in there, they noticed the 5 a side trophy and said ‘what the fcuk is that?’ 🤣
