Loaned-Out Players

Various notes, comments, statuses.

On loan through May:
1. Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, 22. Sheffield United. injured (hamstring). Returned to Palace for treatment. Missed 176 days in 23/4 with hamstring - is this a reinjury?.
2. Joe Whitworth, 20. Exeter City. FA 3-1 over OxfordU, to play Forest 4th round.
3 Owen Goodman, 21. Wimbledon.
4. Danny Imray, 21. Bromley.
5. David Ozoh, 19. Derby. FAWeekend: "not far off a return to training". Quad & hamstring injuries (starting 15/9/24))
6. Killian Phillips, 22. St Mirren. (Obligation to buy on this loan).
7. Jemiah Umolu, 19. Port Vale. (1/25 - 5/25). Promotion dogfight. Unused sub first game (18/1)
8. Asher Agbinone, 19. Gills. (1/25 - 5/25). "number 10 in a 4-2-3-1, lasted 82 minutes as the Gills fell to a 1-0 defeat to Doncaster. The winger by trade was named as Gillingham’s Man of the Match on their social media."
9. Chris Francis, 22. Dag & Red. (1/25 - 5/25). late on sub (1') in first game.

Unknown:
1. Billy Eastwood (last year's U18 keeper), 19. Broadbridge Heath. Prior to and until mid-November Billy started about seven(?) games holding several clean sheets. Not seen since..... ??

Returning? If not already returned.
1. Odsonne Edouard, Leicester. MLS Atlanta bid £15 million (16/1, ANixon)
2. Naouirou Ahamada, Rennes. IMO, never suited for premiership football. Although, he did make the Rennes bench x Marseille and got 3' late on for his first and only (as of 20/1) appearance.

Loan ended:
1. Luke Plange, 21, (contract through 30/6/25). HJK Helsinki. Let him walk on 1/7?
2. Tayo Adaramola, (31/5/25), 21. Stockport County. Currently, Wigan interested. Niggling injuries.
3. Malcolm Ebiowei, 21, (30/6/2027), Oxford United. Now, Cardiff linked.
4. Ademola Ola-Adebomi, 21, SK Beveren. "combination of failing to impress Beveren boss Marinik Reedijk and a shoulder injury," Wimbledon interest?
5. Jack Wells-Morrison, 20. Wealdstone. started 15/18 of the matches, as DM or holding in (usually) a 343 or 352. 1 assist. Successful loan. (www.wealdstone-fc.com/post/jack-wells-morrison-returns-to-crystal-palace)
6. Roshaun Mathurin, 20. Hartlepool. Has not been on pitch since mid-November, last 3 not in squad. "He was a good lad, he tried hard and we did our best with him.")

Whitworth continues to impress down at Exeter.

Is that pie man Kevin Miller as their goalie coach?

I'm convinced he took a bung at the end of the season when we lost to Bolton (5-2) after being relegated and did the same the next season v QPR (6-0). Had good games overall in both but conceded really dodgy 1st half goals in each.

Left soon after when we were in administration and tried to negotiate a free despite being under contract.

Goodman at the 'wombles' is doing great as well 12th clean sheet so far. Here's the clubs take on them all . . .

Bit of an odd one. Always thought Div 2 was too low for him but unless Wycombe has an injury issue it is a bit strange that they are looking for reinforcements for the starting lineup as they are currently in second place. Mind you, if he does get in the team they should suit his attacking style. They have an astounding 31 goals in 12 away games: no other team has 20

Article from Alan Nixon saying that Wycombe have a new owner with deeper pockets, that they have transferred out a few players in this window & have made a bid to buy Danny Imray as a replacement at £750,000 -

I would be surprised if we sold him ( especially at that price) but for sure it outlines their intentions.

I happened to notice Hull and Sheffield was being broadcast so I watched the 2nd half. Rak-Sakyi came on as a sub and perhaps the fact coming back from injury, the weather or that the team wasn't playing well, I was completely underwhelmed by his performance, body language and lack of effort/energy.

Did not reflect well. His attitude shown on the pitch is nothing needed at Palace. Perhaps I caught him on a bad night but yikes.

Suspect some way off match fit
