Liverpool Predictions.

Sarr: “He had the full training week, the same as Adam [Wharton] and Eddie [Nketiah].

“[Yeremy Pino] just had to rest on Tuesday. He had a bone bruise – he took a knock, knee on knee, which was very painful – but since Wednesday he’s been training and did the rest of the week. He feels fine, so he’s also available.

Brilliant.

This, for me, is the real test.

True, Liverpool's squad is packed with talent. True, too, that we have talent in abundance.

We've seen Palace develop so much that there's room for guarded optimism, I think. OG is the master tactician, too, isn't he.

To be honest, I'll be most interested in seeing how we stand up to the challenge; to gauge where we are on our journey.

In the not-too-distant past, I'd always seen this fixture as a 'freebie': anything other than a loss being seen as a bonus - and some of that attitude persists, I think.

I'm expecting a loss and would be well happy with a point. 0-0?

if we get a win or a draw , i will be delighted.

If we lose .....fair and square....i will take it on the chin. No shame in losing to the champions.

however, if we lose due to a dodgy referee.....i will be feckin furious. And this posting is my official prediction that Big Clubs get an easier time from referees.
