Liverpool Predictions.

Last I checked the EPL Injury table, they still included Franca and Edouard.

Pino is the only serious issue.

(and Sarr)
OG said Sarr was back in full training on Sunday (rest of the squad had a couple of days off after the West Ham game on Saturday and will link up with his team mates on Tuesday (so today).
If he has no reaction and trains well I'd expect Sarr to start. Especially with Pino likely to be out.

Liverpool haven't played that well but still managed 5 wins, albeit relying on their VAR buddies to dig them out of the odd hole. That either means that; They're gonna click soon and blow someone away, or They're VAR luck(!) will run out and will actually lose a game.

I would love it to be us to hand them their first defeat of the season, but they'll want to right the wrong of the community shield, and end our unbeaten run..

tough game awaits, but one we can win 2-1.
And our boys will be keen to prove the Community Shield was no fluke and that we belong in this company and we'll want to extend our own unbeaten run. Cuts both ways and Liverpool are not THAT good.

Heart says 2-0 palace
Head says 1-2 liverpool
My generally anxious gut says we go 3-0 down in the first 28 mins and claw back a goal in the 70th to lose 3-1

How scouse clickbait is portraying the fact, we could have 6 players missing for this clash . . .

What a crap article. They have included 2 long term injured (neither would be a starter when fit) and a youngster who has barely played. Liverpool media are worried

Sarr is a big game player with no fear in front of goal. If he plays on Saturday we have every chance to win.

Liverpool have been letting more goals in than they usually do. They commit bodies which could play into our hands if our midfield can get through the thirds or supply Munoz/Sarr/Kamada (and JPM directly).

Objectively they are one of the best teams around, but we have some excellent momentum. Prediction: 2-2.

Ekitike just got a second yellow and sent off. Suspended for Saturday now?
I was wondering the same thing

Suspensions following a Red Card are applied across both league and cup competitions as per the tables below – only accumulated Yellow Cards are competition specific*.

Isak is a good cover for them if true though. But still let’s hope so 🙂

Ekitike was scared about coming up against one of the best defences in the PL....in other words we're massive...now all we need is Isak to pull a hammy and they'll be petitioning to get the game rescheduled...deffo makes Saturday a bit easier!

Slot seemed genuinely miffed that Ekiteke will be suspended for the weekend

Must have been first choice and did start very well against us in the Charity Shield

Isak a quality replacement though only one goal in six against Palace so far (relying on AI for that stat) but that was the fifth in the 5-0 in April - the last time we lost ...

Actually he comes across a very measured guy, I think he is a smart guy. Thankfully on this occasion he seems to have lost his head and done us all a favour
Not that smart - wasn't he done recently for filming himself on a phone whilst driving his new car along a motorway or something - and then uploaded the clip.
