Superb performance from Sage and the boys.
We were the better team by a long way, the defence looked solid and Timber in the middle is quality. He reminds me of Andy Gray at times and will be a star in this team I'm sure.
A bit more cutting edge up front and trust me we'll be just fine.

We were arguably the better team vs Leeds....they had 1 clear cut, we had 1 ruled out (tight), a few half chances and Trafford made a decent save, respect the point but more so respect the performance. Maybe Lerma in the CB we didnt know we needed, he was class today.

I just assumed that with his long term injury record Sage decided to limit his minutes so he can ease himself back into regular football. I may be wrong.

Nketiah is a football fraud on his salary. One on one with the keeper he goes to jelly. All he knows is head down 'snap shot hit and hope' in open crowded play. 1 in 6 goes in ,..the rest hit keeper or are scuffed/wide.

Compare him to a proper football player like Ian Wright who learnt as a boy how to look up for that fractuon of a sec and then place it to the side of the keeper. Bang..goal. Chalk & cheese.

I know i have a downer on him but it's so frustrating to see.

Prove me wrong Nketiah but i think it's too late to learn that killer instinct.

Great tactical game and thanks to Sage expertise and the teams execution of the plan, an excellent clean sheet for the first time in 11 epl games. More than happy to walk away from Leeds with a point and would have taking that well before a ball had been kicked. Richards was better with his defence today especially with the high balls coming into the box and he seemed to have a bit more pace about him. We now have a long break so hopefully the improvements today will get even better over the International rest period so that we came back with a bang!

It’s been a difficult start to the season, everyone knows that. But this game showed a team beginning to gel really well. No goals but we made a Leeds team in good form look very ordinary in a game we should have won. A lot of teams around us have improved again this year but this game showed we can match most of them.
