Devenny. One good thing, one shocking miss. Uche has added some threat. He has to start in place of JPM or Pino next game. Both of those two have offered little for a few games now. Drakes Thomas definitely has something about him. Would be nice to finally bring through one of own but early days for him.

Who said anything about high wages, I certainly didn’t and I’m pretty sure there were decent players out there that would have cost no more per week than loan players. We quite simply made the decision not to strengthen the squad by loan purchase or otherwise.

Taking one or two players on 1 year contracts is hardly moving away from an overall model of buying younger players, it’s simply adding experience in the short term.

Out of interest what calibre of player do you think you would get on a one year contract for not a lot of money?
 
Lots of huff and puff yet jaded by way of mental application coupled with repeated issue of clinical finishing. Fortress Elland Road was prepared and got the result that they deserved by contrast.

Palace team needs to change sponsorship deal to Duracell given fight to avoid playing 'run down'...😉

Think we already know how Carabao Cup tie vs. Arsenal is going to fair.

Board need to seriously invest in top level strengthening of first team otherwise performances will slide still and Glasner will look elsewhere.
 
I think somebody else said it, I love watching Palace but it’s too much at the moment. It’s never ending for us, imagine how it is for the players.

I’m going to bed to forget about this and look forward to feeling s*** again on Tuesday.
 
Is Mateta looking to leave or is he fishing for a new contract? Why is he playing if he has a knee problem?
Is Uche not given starts because the club has no intention of buying him?
