I don’t have an issue with Dyche, I think he is a fixer and can keep us in the league. But why not Eddie Howe? Has he already stated he’d have no interest?

Suffice to say I don't share your optimism apropos the Leeds encounter.
I happen to believe that a share of the spoils will be a creditable result, however I am not expecting such an outcome.

Last season illustrated that the team struggle after a weekday Euro game and I can't see this as being any different. Some may say "Ah, but look at our new improved bench!" but so far they look like a bunch of strangers come together for a kickabout in the park.
It will be interesting to see the two different sides Sage puts out, it will tell us a lot about priorities.

Yes 352 but we need our CB play like CB and Marshall the the back line not look at each other for guidance , follow the player not the ball , get that right we then have half a chance of stopping easy goals

The key to a back 3 functioning is tight organisation and strong working as a unit.
Obviously having players like Guehi and Lacroix helps, but there were games where Clyne, Lerma, Chaloboah and Ward stepped into the back 3 and the transition was seamless.
This is a tribute to good coaching and strong organisation.

At the moment we don't have a strong foundation and the back 3 are playing like strangers.
The distances between them are too great, leaving big gaps for the opposition to exploit.
I don't see that changing in the near term as Disasi's absence for 3 games means more disruption, even if he presumably features in Europe.
