Leeds Predictions.

The last League game in which we never conceded 2 goals or more was back in April, when we drew 0-0 at home to W.Ham who of course were relegated last season.
Four for Sage and six for Glasner, and with the changes in personnel, indicates the problem is more deep seated than our current tactical approach. Low press or high press hasn't made much difference.

I share your concerns.
I am also concerned about Leeds' intensity, work rate and their 'Press'.
I’m concerned that After winning the FA cup, ECL, and community shield palace fans didn’t appear to mind what happened in the future; We did what no one ever dreamt of. We are all complete and will die happy blah blah.
Now it seems it was lip service and a rebuild with a new manager and players has to be nuclear. I don’t get it !

That's a reasonable point, and in fact our defensive form since Guehi's departure dropped significantly with a poor second half of the season, after a very stong defensive showing in the early months of the season when we had a long unbeaten run.
Liverpool must be regretting their penny pinching attitude.
They spend hundreds of millions on forwards, but neglected to spend an extra few million which could have sorted out their defensive woes at a stroke.

The game today against Leeds today is very much a litmus test, it will define our season one way or other. After all, how long can one go on saying "it needs time, it'll come good in the end"? Conceding two (and more goals) every game means relegation, and if results don't improve by sometime in October then Sage will be a goner, so he has time but not much of it, as we can't afford to be adrift.
Leeds is a tough game a few days after Europe; we will see if Sage has learned anything from our previous league games, the Premiership is a different ball game.
I agree with all of this. If we go out today and get a result that would be fantastic. If we go out and are competitive, difficult to play against and much tighter defensively then that would be encouraging, even if we lose.

If we go out and leave acres of space behind the wing backs, concede a steady stream of crosses we can’t defend and lose 3 or 4 nil then that is not good enough. We can all see what our tactical problems are, Leeds can see it, I’m sure Sage can see it. Does he have the managerial chops to do anything about it?
