21,000 so far this year, which of course excludes those not known about - you think that's fine do you? 41,000 in 2025, would not be surprised if we approach that figure again by the end of this year. Labour have done f-all to stop it. They couldn't care less, they don't think it is much of a problem - neither do the likes of you.

I'm no Burnham fan, but as PM he clearly has more access to intelligence briefings than you or I.
As the Head of M15 clarified yesterday Russia did interfere in the Brexit referendum but it was low level and had no significant impact.

Why is that so difficult to accept?

He didn't see any briefings before he just made some s*** up to look good. It's how he works. Then, retrospectively, there have been various contradictory statements until someone almost backed him up. But didn't really.
I don't think we need MI5 to know there are Russian bots. Although loads of them are not affiliated to anything. Just trolls.

Agreed on being wrong. Fourteen years of a different government creating virtually every pressing problem we have including ever increasing illegal immigration. A different government cuts illegal immigration numbers almost by half in just two years and for some they are doing nothing. No party is perfect, but its a big worry if people can not greet a success, even if partial ,held against total failure on the part of the previous government.

So which government measures have caused a drop in recorded illegal immigration?

Ever thought that there reaches a point when most are already here? Basically what happened with Germany and Syrians. There is not an endless supply of people who'll live in camps in order to go to the UK rather than France. They have to get banned from France first and then work out the next country who will pay them endlessly to never particularly participate in it.

The ones that have cut the numbers by 40%. It’s as simple as that . That’s all you need to know as a fact.
There is a whole raft of measures have been introduced the most recent are in a 2026. Bill . If I thought one measure was more effective than another it would not have any effect on the 40% success rate. Suffice to say the collective measures, which you can access are helping to make some progress.
