Labour Party politics

The coffers are indeed dry. COVID and Brexit kind of nailed an economy already on the precipice. Whoever takes the reins is going to be unpopular.
And Scotland and Wales voting for parties that look after their interests. Hugely dividing, but not in a nationalistic independent way, but wanting a fairer cut of the monies from Westminster.
It's going to a huge mess to sort out.

This suggestion is really bothering me. Trial by Jury along with the presumption of innocence is the bedrock of our judicial system and our freedoms.

The Uniparty have been chipping away at our freedoms for decades and now they are proposing to do away with a major protection.

Just in case any on the left think it is a great idea I would put out the many many cases where protestors clearly guilty of something have been found not guilty by a sympathetic jury. Will a judge ignore the law, I doubt it.

This is an attack not just on people who use hurty words or throw paint or glue themselves to the road. It's an attack on all of us.

Why bother with trial anyway. 😡

Sorry behind a paywall couldn't find an alternative.

When the government announced they were scrapping NHS England and it would save 18000 jobs and millions of pounds, I said but will it really?

Sure enough it now seems that it's gold plated redundancies all around and see you in six months for your new job which will be the same. Great cost savings.

Politicians 😡

Just seeing the headlines as they appear on Starmer's speech right now.
He is gaslighting the population!
He is making points which do not ring true with me.
The Country is going down the pan and yet he says that we are on track and that everything is going swimmingly well.
This garbage has to stop and asp.
