It is not the government letting them out it is prison staff i have my suspicions as to why but the government are obviously blameless. Anyway a politician shouldn't be in the job if they can't withstand embarrassment Labour are in power that is all that matters not muttering away on the sidelines nothing is more futile than moaning and being ignored.

For balance, the Tories were rubbish at accidentally releasing prisoners as well.
The whole prison system clearly needs to be overhauled.
