Authentic? I very much doubt he wears blue pants.
Depends if Lord Ali asked him to, surely?Authentic? I very much doubt he wears blue pants.
And compare to John Smith's.So, how many of Labour's front bench, and high position people have been sacked, forced to resign..?
Wouldn't resign seeminglySacked !
Mandelson's position became untenable, only after incriminating Epstein files were going to be made public.
Mandelson knew these documents existed, and you can bet Starmer did. Putting the precautionary approach of "innocent until proved guilty", to one side, this has got to critically damage Starmer. If it weren't for other hot news topics keeping this from the front pages, Starmer would be packing his bags. (just my opinion)
And the gut-wrenching stuff, is that Mandelson's connections/activities were known about before he was gifted the dream job of Ambassador to the USA. I also reckon Mandelson got a hefty pay-off and final salary pension. Mandelson should probably be in jail.
I am beginning to believe Starmer is doing this on purpose as he is a dead man walking. Why would you make this racist woman HS, why would you make Mandleson UK Ambassador to USA?I knew I’d dislike this woman. I’d like to describe this person in other ways…
Because he doesn't have too many friends in his own party?I am beginning to believe Starmer is doing this on purpose as he is a dead man walking. Why would you make this racist woman HS, why would you make Mandleson UK Ambassador to USA?
David Lammy as Foreign Secretary, I could go on.
Because he doesn't have too many friends in his own party?

Agreed. One of the problems new parties like Reform will have is often the people they hire are unknown quantities and then the dirt comes out. So I have some sympathy when that happens.Mandelson is a talented mind and in another time suited to being a diplomat.
However over his career he's been compromised several times and was a known quantity. It calls into question, once again, Starmer's judgement and also to my mind his own questionable and liberal attitude to sexual misconduct.
Time for a bit more Healy and Benn politicsI want the Labour leadership to stop lying about being centralist....because they aren't really......and to start being honest about their politics and represent their base.
I've said it for years, parties should represent their party members who work for them....not monied interests and 'focus groups'.
The real Labour party is far closer to the likes of Steely (said without malice) and Corbyn and at the moment it's found itself caught inbetween political worlds pleasing no one......and thus it's completely unsuited to governing.
Authenticity above half truths and lies.
Starmer represents the dishonesty stain hanging over the Labour party. They can't win anything while that remains.
