Very good, hard to argue with most of it.

Rushanara Ali criticised after rent increase on London property
Rushanara Ali MP faces criticism for increasing the rent on a house she owns by hundreds of pounds.www.bbc.co.uk
When asked why she had jacked up her rents she said
"It's all the fault of this useless government that prices have gone up. Err I mean well you see err..."
If that was a Tory minister.....Wow.
A pound to a penny that it’ll be ‘sold’ to a connected party and converted to an HMO pre-let to HMG on a long term contract….or am I just being cynical ?Good to see the Homelessness minister leading by example.

I like a flutter every now and then. I have no problem taxing the gaming industry, it wreaks havoc on some people so they should pay.Gordon Brown was on the radio this morning talking about taxing certain parts of the betting industry more heavily to fund child welfare.
Regardless of what one thinks about Brown and his policies, it was refreshing to listen to someone who could string words together well, communicate his message clearly and manage the interviewer. A great contrast to Rachel Reeves and Starmer who increasingly sound more like a pair of whoopee cushions.
Yes, Brown made that point. He wants to tax slot machines and online gambling more heavily.I like a flutter every now and then. I have no problem taxing the gaming industry, it wreaks havoc on some people so they should pay.
I maybe wrong on this but aren't many of the big gaming companies based offshore and so don't pay tax?
If that is correct why do the government give them a licence? Surely if you want to run a gambling business in the UK we should demand you are registered in the UK and pay your full share of taxes. Or is this because you have lots of MPs on the payroll.
Amazon taking over and the loss of small businesses paying tax is a big loss. And I roll my eyes when women say they love Starbucks. FFS.I like a flutter every now and then. I have no problem taxing the gaming industry, it wreaks havoc on some people so they should pay.

Leon isn’t a coffee shop in lots of towns and cities. Or do they pay nearly zero tax as well?Prefer Leon TBH 😋
Only seen them in big towns and what they pay doesn’t make the drinks taste crap. That wasn’t a political answer just fact 👍😀Leon isn’t a coffee shop in lots of towns and cities. Or do they pay nearly zero tax as well?
