Labour Party politics

I find it hard to understand why you still back Labour to turn this country around? each to their own

I’m not particularly enamoured by Labour whatsoever. You just posted a PMQ style sound bite with absolutely no substance. But each to their own.

I think what this scandal really highlights is that we truly do have a uniparty in this country - this was initially a Tory f***-up and cover up, but merrily continued by Labour once in office.

They are all batting for the same side, and it's certainly not the side of the public.

A constitutionally unprecedented super-injuction which denied Parliament any right to scrutinise the government, and even now it's known, there was not a single question or comment made by any MP on either side during yesterday's PMQs.

To quote a former Chief Advisor to the PM; "The system is working as intended".

Labour to introduce voting for 16 and 17 year olds at next election. Not sure what the purpose of this is, apart from perhaps assuming that those age groups will vote for Labour. I presume 16 and 17 year olds will no longer be able to hide behind the anonymity shield when committing a crime seeing as they are being considered mature enough to make rational decisions.

I don't think they'll do it because the younger generation prefer Reform. One point to remember is that these young people will have experienced constant diversity and gender propaganda in schools.

seems the Headmaster has stamped his feet . . .

He's now suspended more MPs than any other Labour Prime Minister in history. Blair didn't suspend one in 10 years as PM, but Stamer has managed 11 within a year.

They're absolutely finished already - a shambles of a government.

It's not strength but weakness.

What does suspending mean anyway? The MP can't attend party meetings? They are probably quite glad of that, with no election in sight they don't really meed the party machinery at the moment.

Strength would have been kicking them out of the party, not going to happen.

Voting for 16yo's.

Starmer "old enough to go out to work, they are old enough to pay taxes"

I wonder how many 16yo's are in work most are in education.

I look forward to treating 16yo offenders are adults and none of this their brains aren't fully formed yet excuses. Yeah right.

And a host of other bad news.

Pay growth has dropped over the past 3 months

Unemployment up to 4.7%

Job vacancies have been falling continuously for the past 3 years but hey let's get more migrants in.

So future election campaigns will be about rescuing animals and improving school dinners.
