Killer Kids in the UK

It's incredibly sad. I find it hard not to think that loads, loads more stop and search is necessary. And then maybe actual, heavy sentences. Surely everyone wants all of this stamped out?
Maybe there's another solution but honestly I think hard is the way to go on knife crime. I also wonder about parental responsibility when they're 14 and as young as that but it's hard to really know what happens sometimes.
 
There are things that could (should) be tried - but would be unpopular with the liberal do gooders - as well as the unlawful. thenselves

Start at the beginning. Zero tolerance. All laws -and by laws - to be enforced from littering ,vandalism, to shop lifting to any form of violence. assault etc. Stop youngsters getting away with petty crime and you may stop them committing more serious crime - or at least believing they are somehow above the law,

Youngsters 10-16, Weekend detention centre. Not too harsh but deprive them of their freedom Friday evening to Sunday evening - for anti social/minor criminal offences. Also then ensure they at school Monday - Friday. Make them realise that actions have consequences while they are young !

I could go on - but yiou get the idea !

That’s all I’m writing as what I reckon he did it for will get me a knock on the door by the local gendarme. 2TK planned my response as soon as the stabbing happened. He knows the fear he has instilled prevents the truth coming out.

It is, of course, a new threat! Which has nothing whatsoever to do with immigration.

The radicalisation of people via the internet and them then acting alone is a new phenomenon. Those who are vulnerable, impressionable or have difficulty with personal relationships are capable of being influenced by misinformation, disinformation and downright manipulative and malicious information. These aren’t terrorists of the kind we are familiar with. Not driven by political or religious beliefs to form groups. They are loners.

Lone wolf attacks are not new. They've been going on for years. Islamic attacks similar. The root and branch overhaul of society that is needed isn't going to happen - so just expect these kind of things all the time. An enquiry here about failings is not going to recommend interning 10s of thousands of nutters so it will fail.
This is a combination of care in the community (bollocks for high risk people), an overly generous welfare state that allows people to just bum around online all their lives and silly, unjustifiable, fake immigration. Add into that eroded family values and lack of common decency and it's a heady mix. It seems to be the British government's chosen path.

Latest news is hes more concerned about chasing Amazon for selling the knife to the child murderer plus obtaining travel, location info regarding the riot, so he can bang up more whites and send a strong 'shut up or go to prison' message.

better imprison the IKEA employees too. They sell dozens of large kitchen knives everyday. Funny enough, there was never a Southport type of outrage in Poland or Hungary ? And they got kitchen knives too.
