Judges & the ECHR

I very much doubt it - most females have far more sense. You might as well say that someone who dresses, feels and acts as Napoleon Bonaparte is Emperor of the French in every way expect the physical.
Bad analogy. Anyone who thought like that would end up being sectioned.

Trans people aren’t ill. Their physical appearance is at odds with their sexuality.

There are no such people as trans people. There are some men who pretend to be women and some women who pretend to be men and some people who pretend to be Napoleon and some people who pretend to be one nation Tories.

Funny isn’t it, some Supreme Court rulings are gospel and should not be challenged, as they know best. But you feel this one can be challenged, why is that?
Supreme Court rulings are the definitive word in the UK. The question being asked of the UCHR is whether the application of the judgement will infringe the human rights of the applicant. The UCHR may refuse to hear it, or dismiss it. If they find in the applicant’s favour the UK is bound by its own legislation to accept the judgement and, I assume, look for ways to apply the ruling without compromising the human rights concerned.

Which could be very tricky and probably result in a fudge.

So someone can "know" with all certainty that they're the wrong gender and expect everyone else to agree but thinking they're the wrong age will get them sectioned.
Gender dysphoria isn’t something I, nor, I suspect, you, has experienced.

Those that do are given a lot of support as they come to terms with it. If they reach such a decision then it needs to be respected. Whether, or not, everyone agrees is besides the point.

None of which means that self identification is enough to justify anyone using a female facility, as the SC ruling made clear.

No amount of support and understanding could turn a young person into an old one.

It's not a question of turning anyone into anything. It's about their feelings. Age dysphoria does exist but apparently doesn't need to be respected.

All this post suggests that there is at least one person here who pretends to know what they are talking about.
It's all self-evident, to pretend otherwise is merely pretence.
