My heart says ,I hope there is a place in the Palace set up for him.
He has been involved for us ,from the rebirth after administration right through to today. There have been many astute signings over the period , but the young Joel, at around £400,000 must be right up there, certainly as value for money.

Agreed they don't need them for financial reasons any more but they're a nice way for the fans to say goodbye and recognise a long serving player's contribution. Football can be such a cut throat business that it's nice to be a bit sentimental now and again. Maybe I'm just an old softy.
