To go with his brown hat?Nearly as bad as Clattenburg at the 2016 Cup final, and it wouldn't surprise me if he was taking brown envelopes too.

This was certainly evident in the England v Mexico game! Compare the decisions against what Paraguay received from VAR...... It's getting a bit ridiculous now!It strikes me that FIFA do not want a European team to win this year’s competition. If inexperienced referees from small nations with weak football leagues are appointed they can be manipulated to provide an “appropriate” result. It doesn’t work all the time but so far the Netherlands and Germany have been put out. Belgium was the next target until Senegal took their foot off the accelerator and started showboating twenty minutes before the end. Said Martinez, that well known Honduran referee, did not need to tarnish his reputation by getting involved. Who’s next? Norway, England, Spain or with the right referee France?

Thanks for the info, ASCPFC.I think you have to have 8 English Qualified - trained in England 3 years before 18-21. And four (included as English qualified too) trained by the club 3 years between 18-21. Players who are under 21 and been at the club over two years don't need to be registered. If you can't fulfill that, you lose a space in the 25 man squad.
I'm really just going by Football Manager on this - but it's usually correct. It isn't that easy to get the full 25 for Palace. Particularly since Clyne and Zaha are gone. Mitchell and Wharton count as Club ones. Canvot will one day. Have to register someone like Goodman, Rak-Sakyi or Ozoh to have a full squad. That's why we keep on registering a load of goalies.
Premier League rules are 8 English qualified and U21s don't need to be registered.

It's not quite that simple. This should explain:Thanks for the info, ASCPFC.
So 8 trained in England before 18-21. Would be; Henderson, Mitchell, Nketiah, Johnson, Hughes, Wharton, Esse, Matthews.
Plus as spares if we get rid of any of those we can register Rak-Sakyi, Kporha, Cardines, Goodman, Whitworth, Imray, Adaramola, França, or Ozoh.
Understand some of those in the spares aren't required to be registered as youths, but if necessary they can be, to make up the quota.

Wouldn't Wharton count? That's two. Then maybe Goodman - three. Then you're right - we need to keep one of the others: Cardines, Imray most likely, perhaps Ozoh. Or we lose a space - which wouldn't actually kill us as we barely have 25 players. It's not quite that simple. This should explain:
"
UEFA defines a homegrown player as one who, regardless of nationality, has been trained by their club or another club in the same national association for at least three years between the ages of 15 and 21Wikipedia+1. Players are categorized as:
On that basis of the 8 1st team players you name, only Mitchell qualifies as club-trained. The other 3 would need to come from the so-called spares you name, excluding Franca who wasn't with us for 3 years before his 22nd birthday.
- Club-trained: Registered with the current club for three full seasons or 36 months between ages 15–21.
- Association-trained: Fulfill the same criteria but with another club in the same national association
Die Europäische Kommission+1.
Clubs must include at least eight homegrown players in their 25-man squad for UEFA competitions, with four from the club itself and four from other clubs in the same association. Failure to meet these requirements reduces the maximum number of players allowed on the squad list, and ineligible players cannot participate in UEFA competitions"
That's why I will be surprised to see the likes of Imray and Ozoh being sold this window.

No, Wharton doesn't count as he came to us in Feb 24 just before Glasner so hasn't done 3 years with us and in any case he's 22 now.Wouldn't Wharton count? That's two. Then maybe Goodman - three. Then you're right - we need to keep one of the others: Cardines, Imray most likely, perhaps Ozoh. Or we lose a space - which wouldn't actually kill us as we barely have 25 players.
Thanks Doombear. Seems we will need at least three of the spares then. It's not quite that simple. This should explain:

Goodman won't count as we already have 3 GK's in Henderson, Benitez & Matthews he would only take up a spot which is not needed. If a 'Keeper leaves, then maybe, but doubt it.Wouldn't Wharton count? That's two. Then maybe Goodman - three. Then you're right - we need to keep one of the others: Cardines, Imray most likely, perhaps Ozoh. Too slowSpurs will not sign Palhinha on a permanent deal, after they secured Fernandes and Tonali.
If he still leaves Bayern, we could be a potential destination?
