If, and it's a big if, Trump has managed to de nuke Iran and force the biggest state sponsor of terrorism to change behaviour, how will the TDS brigade on here react?

Looks like Trump finally got bored with punching himself in the face.

A lot of damage has been done and he's been so erratic that it's concerning.

Can the consequences be controlled?....we will have to see.

Can half his base look beyond this?....I think if things start looking up.

Iran's military and general infrastructure has been significantly degraded and has no doubt set them back decades.

However, how this affects their attitude.....I'll doubt good comes from this.

Nevertheless, hopefully we get regime change from the internal disruption....and a regime change that's better for everyone.

You either leave an enemy alone or you take it out.....leaving an injured enemy is a bad idea as Machiavelli taught centuries ago. However, Iran's immediate concerns will be stabilizing its regime.

I'd love to be privy to Trump's phone calls and what's been going on behind the scenes, because I suspect from his tweets that it's been wild.

Oil refineries left alone, domestic gas distribution left alone, no public humiliation of the country, let's see.

The Iranian Army and Navy have about 380,00, the Irananian revolutionary Guard ahd around 150,000, think of it as SS vs Abwehr in Germany in 1945.

Have to get rid of Khomeni and his lot, alive or dead

Best scenario, Army takes out IRG and takes over, after that we leave them to sort out what kind of govt they want, none of this forced Western democracy bullshit.

Red lines are recognise Israel, stop support and arming of proxies, ban on weapons exports , and of course make sure the nukes sites are gone.

If they want a domestic nuclear power program that's a conversation to be had.

BBC verify all over "has Trump the legal power to order strikes". Grudgingly despite the experts they quote they have to admit that Clinton, Obama and Biden did the same.

However, I'm not so sure you get regime outcomes in your favour after bombing people.....a lot will have died. The military are more likely to pull together than to fight each other.

We will see I guess.

According to Grok Israel did strike hit multiple energy facilities. This included the Shahr Rey oil refinery and the Shahran fuel depot in Tehran on June 14-15, causing fires and Iran also confirmed strikes on the Phase 14 Refinery of the South Pars Gas Field and the Fajr Jam Natural Gas Refinery in Bushehr Province.

Steeleye, Beak and others have had to endure the shocking sight of the state enabler of their dream of river to sea Jew free Israel being emasculated .

They may take years to recover.

Hamas, Hezbollah and ther Houthis all cut off now or soon.

I and many others have said it for years, 'international law' is largely bullsh1t.

Honestly for twenty years we had to listen to media blowhards and politicians constantly drone on about 'international law' as if it were some sacred scroll..... gaslighting the public to justify or criticise whatever was being done by our masters.....the lib dems were the worse.

Yet anyone with any sense knows that It's just law that the powerful decide for others but opt out of following themselves.

I didn't read it to be fair.

Personally I mentally and economically defunded the BBC years ago.

Their deliberately constructed middle class liberal work force detest a large number of people who fund them....and frankly they don't deserve their money.

They blacklist talent that doesn't fit their worldview.....and from a merit perspective that's unforgivable....but that's what the modern day left do.

Israel is no better than any other foreign nation and the absurd levels of protection it gets from criticism is pretty weird.

If I can slag off my own sodding nation I can slag off Israel.....no one calls me anti anglo because I slag off Labour or Tories or even Reform.

I would say when posters on here say that Jews should not have a state and should have been settled elsewhere... plus Jews control banks and politics are both antisemitic. Just read the thread, it's all there.
