Iran was suspected of orchestrating the killing of Kurdish dissidents aligned with the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI).

1991 – Assassination of Shapour Bakhtiar in France
Iran’s last prime minister under the Shah was murdered near Paris. French courts linked the killing to Iran’s intelligence ministry.

1992 – Mykonos Restaurant Assassinations (Germany)
Iranian-Kurdish opposition leaders were assassinated in Berlin. German courts found Iran’s leadership directly responsible, causing a diplomatic crisis.

2018 – Foiled bomb plot in Paris
A planned bombing of a rally of Iranian opposition group MEK (Mujahedin-e-Khalq) was foiled. An Iranian diplomat was later convicted in Belgium for the plot.

3. North America
2011 – Assassination plot against Saudi Ambassador in Washington, D.C.
The U.S. uncovered a plot involving an Iranian-American working with the Quds Force to assassinate the Saudi ambassador, Adel al-Jubeir. The plan involved using explosives in a restaurant.

4. South Asia
2012 – Attacks on Israeli diplomats in India and Georgia
In New Delhi, the wife of an Israeli diplomat was injured by a magnetic bomb. Similar failed attempts occurred in Tbilisi. Iran and Hezbollah were widely blamed.

5. Africa
2012 – Foiled terror plot in Kenya
Two Iranian nationals were arrested and convicted for plotting attacks against Western targets in Kenya. Authorities found explosives they had intended to use.

And just to bring it home to the UK, MI5 foiled a Hezbollah bomb plot in London in 2015 and multiple dissidents have been targeted for assassination.

The Shah ran a very repressive regime in Iran but did not organise or support terrorism abroad.

Trump has probably split the MAGA vote, who feel betrayed and the big player MAGA influencers are angry and unless Trump turns this around and a good portion of the base sit at home for the mid terms then Trump loses badly.....and who knows about 2028.

But hey, Israel and the neo cons are happy and as we all know, that's all that matters.

Those America First people are idiots then. They voted for Trump despite his repeated warnings against Iran making a nuke. Even still, it might have split some of the MAGA lot on X but not the wider population. There are no boots on the ground which is a big difference.

This is likely to escalate.

The idea that stopping Iran getting nukes required bombing them is.....let's just say....well kind of ridiculous.

There was zero evidence of nukes and you can't stop them getting a nuke anyway....In fact it's just about certain that Israel's enemies will end up with them now.

All that's been done is make the whole situation much worse and likely have Trump's vote badly hammered.

Sorry if you think that MAGA was the neo con party but I think you very much mistaken.
 
Western intelligence have signaled that they believe Iran is about to conduct missile strikes on American and western military airbases and port facilities in Qatar.

I think it's a wait and see job on whether it escalates. Tucker and co are correct when they say the needless wars for regime change has to stop. However not every single war is like this. If the US stops becoming the world's police, the candidates to step in are not good! Something they fail to realise.

Yup.

I know a Trumpist who said to us Europeans last night online "You're welcome". It was pretty funny. He's a typical actual voter, doesn't wear a red hat, and won't now just go out and vote democrat.

This changes nothing in the USA
