I don't know you nor your ethnicity, the only thing I could speculate is that you're probably on the far left and/or have some genetic loyalty to that part of the world or Islam.

Why do you care? Well, if you're a progressive it's because you have an 'out group' preference and are anti white and you see Jews as part European colonists killing the oppressed.

I do have sympathy for what's happened and happening in Gaza, however the people in Gaza are the responsibility of the Arabs. This idea that we should be involved half a world away is something I'm against.....Why should our attitude to Palestine/Israel matter anymore than India's attitude.

I think, in the modern day, countries should stay out of each others affairs and mostly work for peaceful relations.....alliances can be useful but also end up in the implementation of many evils in agendaed hands.

I didn't particularly agree with what Nato did in 92 either.....It's called the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, yet since the neo cons and New Labour social liberals types have had their weird alliance it's involved itself all over the world.....Twenty years of killing people in the middle east....Outside of action in Afghanistan and getting Bin Laden and his group for 9/11 none of it was justified.

I don't like what goes on around the world, however it's just a new form of colonialism
to insist that the affairs of foreign countries should reflect my ideas.....Why can't I just trade with them. This is India's attitude, it's China's attitude and yeah after all I've lived through I'd rather some of that.

What I think you want is a kind of world government based upon some humanistic principles that isn't controlled by the most powerful countries. I've been hearing this since my school days....it's a kind of neo communist Utopian view of the world.

It's kind of Christianity without the religion. The problem with it is the same problem with communism in general. It works against the common realities of human nature rather than with them.

To change the system you'd end up having to kill far more people and end up being like all the rest....it's always a pile of skulls for this reason or for that reason.....The guy who was the skull ends up dead all the same.

I say live your own personal life abiding by your own principles and while you are fully entitled to your views and your vote, try to cause as little actual harm to others that you can.....sometimes you have to make choices where that won't be the case but it shouldn't be sought out.

What governments get up to often has very little to do with the interests of their own people and I certainly criticise that....but in my personal life, I try to treat people how they treat me.....left, right and indifferent....and plenty of my family are on the left but we have family loyalty and tolerance.

It is a fact the vast majority of grooming gangs victims were young white girls. The vast majority of perpetrators were of Pakistani origin, so it is not racist to say this, is it?

You are certainly right about what I crave being an idealist's fantasy - the reality is much harsher, right or wrong.

We just have to learn to live with the hand we are dealt.

I'm becoming increasingly more worried about the state of the world today - or maybe it's just been highlighted and exacerbated by social media and technology.

But I think there is an unnecessary inference behind it.

The fact that the victims are white is irrelevant.
The fact that the culprits are Pakistani is irrelevant.

Because all that is proving is their skin colour - which has no relevance to the actual crimes.

Because all that will mean is that a picture of Pakistani people is being unfairly projected onto society.

When there is a school shooting in America (almost always a white American) do we say oh it's another white man?
No, we condone the issue behind it, i.e. guns.

The logic you imply is that Pakistani people are the issue - whereas the wider issue is grooming.
