Ismaïla Sarr

The Athletic have ranked the top 50 players currently in the Premier League and Sarr is the highest placed player outside of a big 6 club at 20.

He is rated considerably higher than Wharton at 37 and even Eze at 43.
 
More noise about Sarr to Galatasaray. We rejected their first bid and they're supposedly making a much bigger one, with Sarr keen to go.

I think this is his agent trying to get him a new deal, personally
 
If it happens, tactically Gozo is a perfect fit for that role. He's not just a touchline wing player, he can easily switch inside and act as a second striker when needed. The main question would be is he physically ready to compete in the Premier League right now. Best bet for the moment is probably Pino on the right and McNeil on the left until Gozo is ready.
 
The thought of this Palace team trying to score goals without Sarr and Mateta, as well as already trying to keep clean sheets without Guehi and Lacroix, is indeed a frightening thought.
Hopefully such a nightmare will not unfold.

He really won't be ready for Premier League football. He's unlikely to replace Sarr's 21 goals.
 
He is quite possibly the difference between us staying up and being relegated this season. Massive player for us the last two seasons with an invaluable number of goals.

If he wants to go then it should be next season and we should price him accordingly. I can’t imagine Galatasary being able to afford £70m and that has to be his value to us this season.

Doesn’t strike me as being a down tools type of player and I find it hard to believe he is massively attracted to one of the most racist clubs around.

The German report seems to just pick up and embellish the earlier Turkish , report. Typical rumour mongering.
Most likely just the Turks stirring the pot. But who knows players are so mercenary now, or their agents are , that anything ,even the unlikely can and does happen.
