Ismaïla Sarr

I hope that for period he takes to “process” his failed putative move to ‘pool the self- entitled tosspot isn’t getting paid! A lack of funds might help him process quicker!

Makes Marc Guehi even more of a legend..

Now according to Sage he's "recovering emotionally" after not getting his move. Thoughts and prayers go out to him and his heroic struggle to accept the soul crushing indignity of having to settle for £3,460,000 a year.

Makes you wonder what 'recovering emotionally' actually looks like. Is he sitting on the couch wrapped in a blanket, eating ice cream straight from the bucket and listening to Adele, sighing every so often?

He's lucky he's not in the same boat as me. Recovering emotionally? FFS nobody's died

Recovering emotionally, from what exactly? Let’s make no bones about this, if Liverpool had offered 75 million and Gapko went to Man City the deal would have been done and dusted.

If anything it’s Liverpool who pulled out of the deal and who the blame lies squarely with! But some how it’s Palace who created this situation, what goes on in football now makes you wonder why we follow it at all.

He’s walking around Thornton Heath with his emotional support donkey and occasionally having comfort food from wimpy

Palace Chairman; Manager and Captain need to have a sit-down chat with Sarr (if they haven't already) and remind him that he is a core player of the squad for the time being and that he should do his talking ON the pitch to inform other major clubs how gifted and talented he is. PROFESSIONALISM comes into that appeal as well which is why he is not only duty bound to throw himself into forthcoming fixtures but also to prove how 'complete' he is by way of character and conduct as well. Sarr must surely understand Palace's need for an appropriate replacement that was always going to be an insurmountable challenge so close to Sept 1st transfer window deadline.

He also needs to be reminded how much the fans have loved him for what has achieved for the club thus far.. and that they pay his salary. Sarr will get to play in the Champions League soon...

And yet is some way short of being the most disturbed looking, and worrying person in the high street. Might not even be in the top three for being accompanied by livestock.

Got to love Fort Neath.

I feel like we should have sold him. When a player wants to leave for more money, there is not much point trying to prevent the move. Even when he does play for us this season, I doubt he will be that committed. Loyalty to clubs is a thing of the past now. I feel like these footballers are so out of touch with reality, sad really when he comes from a country where a significant majority barely have enough to live on. Deleting his Instagram photos of palace is just childish. He is good but he is not Pele. Get a grip man.

Couldn’t agree more. Cannot blame him for wanting to progress further both in football and financially but he’s becoming our petulant child with a risk of him spreading disaffection in the squad as he’s already demonstrated his lack of professionalism. Shame it’s come to this.

I understand and agree on almost all points… he isn’t Pele but pragmatically he is still the best finisher at the club, he may not be committed to us, but he still needs to score goals to secure his move.

I’d have been happiest with him leaving if we were replacing with someone who scored 20 last season at the highest level. For lack of that I am glad he is in the Europa squad.

I don’t like or trust the guy but I quite like his goals.
