There are laws in place to protect minorities. Using the term Islamophobia in law goes against reason.

No one is interested in 'nice' Muslims. The issue is with those who use violence to push the Islamist death cult dogma. There are a significant number of them here and a significant number of silent supporters among other Muslims.
Beyond that, this is a Christian/secular country. Seeing the spread of Islam as a threat to that and the future of British culture is neither irrational, unreasonable, nor unrealistic.

Well, also the ones who mutilate children, kill female relatives whose behaviour they don't like, those who remain silent of the rape gangs in their communities and the many other unacceptable actions that are accepted behaviours in muslim communities

Labour would like to have a Islamic blasphemy law in all but name, they see it as a vote retainer and would likely push through some prosecutions to show their muslim vote they are really on their side, of course Labour don't realise they have lost that vote to Independents and Greens
