Is Ollie on his bike?

If I was Glasner, I would be asking about players leaving/staying.
If we were to lose Guehi (almost certain) and two others from Eze/Wharton/Mateta/Munoz, then I might be tempted to leave.
With Dougie gone - our biggest loss of all in my opinion, we could go from an amazing season to a mini disaster!
Let's hope not but at some point Palace have to step and say no to these people wanting to move and move on up the table.
I accept that Guehi and I think Mateta, we might not have a choice but we do with the others, unless they have buyout clauses.
As Palace Old Geezer said above - oh to be a fly on the wall in SP's office right now.
He has a tough few weeks and months ahead!

Oh, to be a fly on the wall in Mr Parish's office.

All this speculation can drive you nuts. We just have to enjoy the moment, look forward to our trip(s) to Wembley and thank our lucky stars we've had the benefit of some Ollie time during this phase of our club's history.
That’s it, palace fans of a certain age will know you just have to enjoy the good managers and players while you can, because eventually they’ll all be moving on.
The difference is now as apposed to maybe the team of the 80’s and the early 90’s team, we seem a little bit better at replacing them, hence why we’ve hung around in the top flight for longer than we ever have

Now it’s Spurs allegedly talking to Ollie. Whilst the term ‘clickbait’ is used by members I have no doubt the North London strugglers have made contact, not with OG but with his management company just as RB have done. Of course Ollie will, if asked, give a suitably respectful reply so as not to annoy any future opportunities after he has achieved all he feels he can at Selhurst Park. We all know that people like Potter and Cooper would not be welcome here after turning us down. Furthermore would the fans at White Hart Lane take to an Austrian Manager?

Ollie’s mum knows that RB Leipzig are the most hated Club in Germany hence the concern for her boy. He should heed her warning as Mum Knows Best!8

Found this, a bit of good news hopefully, well, it is clickbait . . .

Thinking about this a bit more….

What’s happened has happened!
What going to happen - is not worth worrying about yet…

SO, as others have said, let’s just enjoy the moment, have a great day out at Wembley and hopefully everything else will fall into place.

It really is a great time to be a Palace supporter - so enjoy it 😂

Agreed. We have some version of uncertainty over players / managers going / not going every summer. The core that’s left after the changes is getting stronger that’s all we can ask for. It’s been a great 2025 so far looking forward to it continuing COYP

every billboard & t shirt is emblazoned with 'no racism here'............ surely then people must practice what they preach. You cannot diss a fella for his identity, his nationality. Especially just because of some monsters astride the world-stage two or three generations ago.

go down that road, and Bayern Munich will sack Harry Kane - in anger for the flattening of Dresden, And West Ham will respond in kind about employing any German players.

This. We need to remunerate the key players appropriately to protect the squad, or risk being back at square one if 3 key players and the coach leave at the same time. SP has already said he was shocked we didn't get big offers for Eze. Practically inviting bids imo

[...]

Are you seriously suggesting Spurs fans wouldn't take to OG because of Adolf Hitler? You are taking an ever so slight leap of imagination there. Are you also careful of the risk of being decapitated by a champagne cork, by any chance?

There is a current Austrian in Spurs playing squad fgs. Beggars belief. You must be joking

Kevin Danso, who is on Loan from Lens, with an obligation to buy at the end of the season.

That's right. Kevin Danso, an Austrian in their playing squad.

Indeed, a quick google and he is not their first Austrian. So the "Spurs won't abide an Austrian because of Adolf Hitler" hypothesis is ever-so-slightly flimsy.

How about the German players they've had. Wasn't Klinsmann public enemy number 1 when he signed for them 30 years ago?

I think it might be best to drop the Jewish / Nazism connotations out of the OG to Spurs rumours full stop

Ollie won't want the step down anyway. Spurs are arguably a sideways step
