Plays the same front 3 and its not working, Kamada is just not good enough, he must see this surely?

Brings on Schlupp for Nketiah didn't make sense, some of his ingame tactics are bizarre

Hope he changes things soon, I'll give it till Christmas then it's time for a change maybe get someone like moyes in.

Moyes & Potter would not come to Palace.

We wont sack manager unless it is closer to the end of the season and we do look in real trouble.

I feel for Glasner he has lost a lot of players and really the replacements yes he knows 2 of them but they are new to the league and this league is miles apart form the German/Italy in every department also the player that have gone out are different types of players to those coming in plus people like Ayew was very good in games like this Everton one just what you need no other player we have does that.

The other thing is I believe its his style which is issue all well and good doing that in far easier German league & knock out football but in toughest league in the world his one style you cant get away with when you need to control games (It's a style which is for underdogs)

He would be better off setting up defensive and doing changes second half to have a go.

Badly need another left back Mitchel isnt good enough and struggles every game second half.

Think it's time for OG to go or prepare for OG to leave.
Dont get me wrong, OG is not bad manager but just not effective in our style and system of play.
Next few matches will see us loose to poo at home, scrapy draw at forest and loss away to spud, will see us in bottom 3.
Even though we have player like Guehi and Warton who are top players need someone who can just keep us floating, like Dyche or Roy/big Sam in the past.

It feels like we don't have a style or structure. Time to build a construct around the core: Eze, Wharton, Guehi, Munoz and Mateta. Put a team on the pitch that plays to and supports their strengths. Make it clear that they are the playmakers and define their roles.

the manager always gets the blame ,at half time with a bit of luck we could have been well clear but what happened in the break lost us the game when the players came out on the pitch they looked like they just did not want to be there ,i think ollie g is a bit of a perfectionist and the players looked confused by his half time instructions ,the big problem is not the depth of squad or the quality of players but the time he has had with the team ,11 of our squad did not have a pre season break and this thing with kamada is down right strange he really was shocking ,in the 2nd half paddy mac spent a good few minutes in og s ear it was only then kamada was taken off, steve p is ruthless and if he thinks that he has lost the plot og will be gone, i know sp was very un happy post man u game ,OH DEAR we had such big hopes for this season

What we enjoyed and found so refreshing about Glasner last season has proved to be a problem this season.

He is a positive , front foot coach who wants to win each game and has suggested that his way of playing will leave us vulnerable on occasions but believes individual defenders have a responsibility to deal with the occasions.
Most of us enjoyed this approach after seasons of mostly dour and rigid football under Roy.?

What has changed?

We lost 2 key components of the system which has had a knock on effect on the rest of the team and we haven’t been able to compensate for this.
Firstly, in the absence of Olise it is easier for teams to mark Eze, Mateta is deprived of service and Munoz’s effectiveness going forward has largely been negated.
Secondly, the absence of Anderson has led to the whole defence looking less assured both defensively and in terms of distribution from the back.
It’s not just Anderson’s long passes.
He was also effective at slipping shorter early passes into midfield enabling us to get on the front foot.

We’ve lost these players and their replacements don’t look comfortable in replicating their roles in the system, but so far Glasner shows no sign of adapting the system to suit the new players.
If we carry on e.g with Kamada as one of 2 central midfielders and Nketiah as a right sided attacker we will continue to struggle to pick up results.
I don’t believe it’s a question of allowing them time to settle and adapt.
It seems to me a more fundamental point about playing them out of position

We have been in every game this season and it’s by no means disastrous .
However, we look like conceding every game and are struggling to score goals.

So far Glasner seems to believe that it’s down to individual mistakes and that’s once these are cut out the system will flourish.
It seems to me to be more of a structural issue with players out of position and unable to demonstrate their best.
I hope he’s right and that I’m wrong.

Please for the love of all that is holy, not Moyes. That’s Roy 2.0. I can’t trust a man with no eyebrows.

Olise and Andersen gone and eze strolling around sulking cos he's not gone as well. Replacements poor but don't know the answer other than we are nowhere near the side that I was so excited about for a top 7finish but now resigned to relegation fight

Definitely not, OG is trying to find the solution without Decoure in the middle which is proving problematic. The fine end to last season was with Andersen, Olise and Ayew and it will take time for the new players to settle.

We all need to step back and let him get on with it, we haven’t gone from a good side to a bad side overnight…….

It's all very well saying this player needs to play here not there, we need to change tactics, etc etc.

But the fact is that the team has not put in a bad 90 minutes this season.

Bad 45's yes. And yesterday was another one of them. And while that remains the case, it's difficult to see OG changing too much because he will feel we aren't far off being where we need to be.

However, to quote the old cliche, it's a results business.

If, as most would expect, we lose at home to Liverpool, well managers of clubs like ours rarely get sacked for losing to them. Lose that and then lose at Forest and I can imagine Parish starting to get a bit twitchy.
