Golf isn't the issue, it is regime maintenance that is the issue. That is why the Saudi National Guard gets the best training, personnel and equipment while the Saudi Army gets the leftovers and retards.
Since most people aren't familiar with how this works, I'll explain.
- Saudi Army: Operates under the control of the Ministry of Defense. This is the official Army of the people of Saudi Arabia. It is there to defend Saudi Arabia.
- National Guard: Operates as an autonomous force under the Ministry of the National Guard, reporting directly to the Saudi King. Its communications and command networks are entirely separate from the regular military. Their entire purpose is to ensure the survival of the House of Saud.
- One is there to defend the people in charge and the other to defend the nation. This is how the world works beyond Europe and North America, regime survival is primary and health of the nation is always secondary.

You do, but it is utilization of the military as a supporting role and not the primary role in ensuing the continued control and existence of the House of Windsor.
The equivalent for you would be taking the Army Reserve, making it 40% larger then the British Army, giving it the best equipment and then making it report directly to the House of Windsor for everything from daily tasks to strategic guidance.
So I would say that you haven't crossed that Rubicon yet, but to be fair, the day isn't over yet.

Well aren't Yemeni rebels defeating the government there and attacking Saudi pipelines?
The point is for Iran's proxies to attack the alternative routes for oil out of the region.

The surge in all prices is due to the Houthis offensive actions.
The Houthi military is 100% funded by Iran, if you need to point a finger of blame on oil prices it's straight at Iran.

Crap armed forces. The Houthis are always nicking their equipment. The soldiers probably sell it to them and do a runner. Usually the officers probably. Houthis have a load of US stuff they've got from Saudi. The incompetence borders on humorous. But I don't laugh when it costs me money.

The NAZIs did the same (SS/Gestapo), as did the Soviets (SMERSH/NKVD) and so does Iran today (IRGC).
All the best kit, the best uniform, they never go hungry etc.

I would add North Korea and Pakistan today to that list as their militaries are completely designed to support their regimes.
There is something culturally that goes on within Asian countries where they are drastically more accepting of that type of behavior then Western nations tend to be. While the SS was that way, the Germany Army was not and even fought them at times.

Yes, perhaps I should have said "attempted" the same.
Although, as the war dragged on and the regime became increasingly desperate, the NAZIs achieved the upper hand through e.g. political officers inserted into the army who would report increasingly trivial "anti German" comments like "defeatism", utterances against the Fuhrer etc. All generally punishable by death or penal battalion (essentially the same thing).

I have, years spent in multiple countries in the Middle East, South Korea and Japan. Unfortunately, I have not made it to Hong Kong yet though I have heard wonderful things about it.
While obviously each nation is different, there is a common theme throughout Asian societies that place a high value on the family and community over the individual. Western countries tend to be the opposite.
