Instinctively I feel that the Trump 15 point proposal is doomed. Iran will not go for that, they will shilly- shally first.

It hasn’t taken long to be rejected. Over to Trump to consider Iran’s counter proposal.
In the meantime there should be a ceasefire and shipping routes opened.

Seems more like some released Government stance, in order for particular departments to justify (increased) expenditure or a particular course of action.

Shell CEO says fuel rationing a reality by April.
Trump says Iranian leaders are too scared to do his peace deal, which is a bizzare statement as they are extremists who everyone knew from the start would not surrender.
The options are either a peace deal that suits Iran, which might be possible, and i don't really care what spin Trump puts on it about it being a victory, or a ground invasion by US troops, which would be a disaster and with the real possibility of Iran going down fighting and destroying everything they can as they do so.
One problem I see is that any deal will probably involve an agreed joint statement of the peace deal, and it would take Henry Kissinger to do that, because the rhetoric from each side is the polar opposites of what the other side say is happening.
There needs to be peace talks now and an agreed ceasefire. I cant see any independent global leader up to the job other than Putin.

Excuse my disbelief, but I think this will be another investigation pushed under the carpet. Much like the Epstein files, the Post Office, The Covid Contracts. With the Iran dealings, it's basic theft of money that people have died for.

Even a remote chance of them acquiring nukes is unacceptable. They are the most dangerous regime on Earth.

It may be unpalatable, but Trump respects Putin and Putin is on good terms with Iran. He is an obvious choice.
Oman were leading the previous talks that ended when the US / Israel started bombing, but as Iran have now bombed them they are likely to be reluctant.

He isn't exactly neutral is he. Trump and Putin might be on cordial terms since neither of them have many other people to relate to, but Putin cannot be trusted on anything. The West can't be trusted. You need someone who has no interest in the game.

I don't think these negotiations are particularly serious. Trump is stalling. Iran is bluffing.
I would not be at all surprised if we see a ground offensive of some sort. I just don't see how Trump can commit to a war and then just leave it unfinished. He only looks credible with total victory or something like it.

People are likely laughing at the blatant propaganda and transparent attempts to link Iran to an unexplained domestic incident.

It has been alleged that the torched ambulances were in the process of being replaced and were no longer needed.
The community has received a lot of public sympathy.

As an aside, I am not sure why the UK allows any community to have it's own private police, ambulance service or courts.

I can see what you mean completely. However, attacks on Jews are linked to the war in Iran and the recent Palestine attacks. They are not actually carried out by Iran as you say. But clearly linked to the events.
People are so jaded of Islamic terrorism it's a bit like the blitz now. Just laugh and carry on. It's a farce. After a while no one's scared. It becomes normalised. We're at that stage.

Well, yeah the domestic terrorism situation is a clusterfuck. Our leaders have betrayed us and couldn't give a monkeys, in fact it was what they intended.

But you can't have it both ways.
People can't simultaneously be jaded because it has been going on for years .......and then blame it on the (very recent) war with Iran.

Also, prior to this war, Iran's threat was directed at Israel (Via Palestinian proxies) and its own dissidents.
Iran's funding has always been discrete and targetted, rather than random and widespread (which is more the hallmark of ISIS).
But the UKs current efforts at poking the Iran wasps nest seem to be doing a good job of potentially putting us in their firing line..
