I understand that there is a wonderful scam, costing the NHS millions each year, by pregnant women from certain countries who obtain a 'dodgy' Certificate of safety to fly in from their local Doctor, and who then are challenged on their 'due date' when they go to leave. At this point they admit that they are closer to their due date than will permit them to fly safely, refused on safety grounds by the airlines involved, so are 'obliged' to remain here until after the birth, with all maternity and post natal care free on the NHS. Apparently, some have pulled this same trick for 2 and 3 children.

I suppose they tell the authorities that their Uncle has just inherited £80 million and is just waiting to transfer it to the UK, when he can find someone with a bank account here...........

One of the many ways we make the UK a laughing stock ATM for the rest of the world, has been so under Governments here for decades

Anyone else notice that the day the Prince of Pain aka Ginger Whinger was in court was also the day that Meghan decided to share her devastating health issues, are they related by any chance?

I really hope the court tells Harry to bog off, he has no official duties and is not entitled to be treated like he's important.

I don’t follow the logic of this.

Without knowing the countries you are referring to I assume they are in the developing world, where maternity services are simpler than here, often at home, but still available.

Having to pay an airfare and accommodation costs would, to my mind, not be worthwhile to secure the benefit. If the target was to gain British citizenship for the newborn that makes more sense.

The Swindon re-build has begun. Chicken and burger shops, barbers, vape shops and a few Bookies.
It's happened all over the country. The banks pulled out, trade dropped, parking prices increased. Council's complicit in the destruction of their Business Rates income.

Aside from Brexit I can somewhat agree with that criticism........Come on Steely, what has happened in Swindon and all the places like it is exactly the same whether either of these uniparties were in.
