Interesting (?) Political stuff...

Here we go again: "Marxist" do you know what a Marxist is? And why do you make this accusation willy- nilly, on what grounds?

Also, sorry to be asking this but what evidence do you have for teachers being Marxist lol.

And what, precisely will be re-ducated with, Badge?

Yes, someone who is skilled at being Marx.

Usually comes with an unkept beard.

Oh dear my little joke wasn't funny and I forgot to add a smiley emoji.

It is true that at an up coming Teacher Union conference there is a proposal that children need to be warned about the dangers of Reform. However there are always crazy proposals so I would be amazed if it is passed and worried if it was.

The idea that teachers need to educate children about a the dangers of a democratic political party does smack of Chinese re-education camps hence my sauce for the goose comment about re-educating the Marxists.

I'll try to be more funny next time.

I have never got beyond page one of 'Das Kapital'. it's just too difficult to follow.

In simple terms, Marxism is a theory that argues society is driven by class struggle, where the ruling class (bourgeoisie) exploits the working class (proletariat) for profit, ultimately leading to a communist revolution and a classless society.

It is not, as Phillip Hammond said, someone who disagrees with Class 4 NIC contributions, and that is so typical of the use of the term 'marxism' to decsribe anything you don't happen to agree with.

🙂

It's a fair observation, both sides are lazy from time to time.

How convenient

The myth of democracy.

They are trying to ban anything that isn't the neoliberal right all over Europe.....Doing whatever hit jobs they can....If you are populist they will seek to subvert democracy via their ideological control of the courts. They stopped the populist left in Corbyn by over inflating his anti semitism and various hit jobs but they are even more scared of the populist right.

A myth indeed.

They're playing a dangerous game though. Pulling these stunts will only push people further to their respective extremes.
