The EU doesn’t work in the same way as any national government does. Get over it. Would you actually have wanted it too and for us to have abandoned our own government? At least that way Brexit couldn’t have happened!

It does work like some national governments. Governments where the people or the elected members of the government don't have a say. Or maybe countries like China and North Korea where there are elections but they are meaningless as the power is elsewhere. It's a bit like a monarchy or a dictatorship perhaps.

I think I know what you mean. It can be people who’ve spent money on tat as well. The Ugg boots and pyjama women have no class. Fake eye lashes, lip fillers etc etc. Then there’s the women lol.

So the question is, why are governments not dealing with this now? They can hide behind the ECHR, lefty lawyers and all the usual guff, but they have the power to make it go away.

Sooner or later, the dam will burst. It is inevitable. The cost to the economy and therefore the tax payer is growing steadily, the facilities to house these people is under strain already. Crime and the resentment caused is growing at an alarming rate.
The government will be turfed out at the next election because of this issue. They immediately cancelled the only deterrent and now do stupid deals with France that are meaningless.
