Absolutely harrowing breakdown. I have no words. Just a heads up to state the obvious, be warned this is genuinely horrific listening.

That playbook has been played to death. Any criticism of Sturgeon is mysoginistic, any criticism of Kahn is islamophonic, any criticism of Mandelson is homophobic, any criticism of Lammy is racist. All of which dismissals invalidate any legitimate concerns in some minds.I was unsure who to vote for at the next GE but this incident has pushed me 100% into the Reform camp .
Nigel Farage is being accused of incitement for his comments. An Unbelievable attempt to block free speech , Labour are so desperate .

It's as though every point raised against the consensus in this case has crumbled. The judge said this guy was of previous 'good character' when he sentenced him.
It's now come to light that Vickrum Digwa was accused of stealing around £1,000 worth of ceremonial "shaster" (or Sikh ceremonial) knives from his local Sikh temple. He was arrested and released without charge at the time.
So Digwa was known to police prior to the murder.
The temple reportedly banned him, citing issues like anger problems, lying, and an obsession with weapons.

I'd have thought the start point would be 25 years as a knife was the weapon used to murder Henry. And given what happened I would not be looking at any mitigation. The judge said this guy was of previous 'good character' when he sentenced him.

100%, part of the mitigation was " his young age "I'd have thought the start point would be 25 years as a knife was the weapon used to murder Henry. And given what happened I would not be looking at any mitigation.
Just a thought but Sikh's are allowed to carry their ceremonial knives and as far as I can tell most Sikhs are peaceful and law abiding. The judge said this guy was of previous 'good character' when he sentenced him.

There is a video on X of the murderer waving a sword about in public, so much for good character.Just a thought but Sikh's are allowed to carry their ceremonial knives and as far as I can tell most Sikhs are peaceful and law abiding.
If they are allowed a pass on knife carrying then this should come with a penalty. Any Sikh convicted of a knife offence should have an automatic stiffer sentence as they have betrayed their community.

Apparently his knife carrying is for religious purposes so any knife carried must be locked up securely and the only key is in the possession of the headman at the Temple/Church who must be responsible for a knife transit any transgression means the temple is taken away and becomes a day centre for the down and outs. The police MUST do spot checks on any suspected knife carrier to ensure the law is upheld.Just a thought but Sikh's are allowed to carry their ceremonial knives and as far as I can tell most Sikhs are peaceful and law abiding.
